New Feet!

Postby LadyMermaid » Sun Jun 12, 2011 9:04 pm

So about a week ago I was lucky enough to have a totally awesome friend who found someone selling the Once Bitten, Twice Shy "good girl" set from Delilah Noir on Ebay. This included the jeans, white leggings, white t-shirt, pink hooded sweater, pink beanie, brown purse, brown Uggs, blond pigtail wig and MOST IMPORTANTLY flat feet. My Delilah Noir Sapphire's body is originally the "Dark and Defiant" body which has heeled feet. Sapphire has thus never had shoes as it is not always easy or cheap to find this and it is more difficult to make heeled shoes for dolls myself(i.e. sandals and moccasins would not be terrible hard with flat feet). So needless to say I was very excited to not only shell out $40 for flat feet which are unavailable any other way than to get them from another buyer but to also get a complete outfit and shoes for Sapphire for such a cheap price.

So now Sapphire is stylin in blue jeans and a cute outfit with her permanent flat feet, as ill probably never switch her back to heeled 1) because they have become only annoying regarding shoes and standing and 2) its not good to keep switching the feet as they have been known to break when this is done with Delilahs. The only item I will probably never use for Sapphire is the blond pigtail wig. Not because I did not like the style, that was fine but when I tried it on Sapphire with her pale skin and dark blue makeup it just looked really horrible so I don't think she'll ever be able to use it. Which is fine, I like her silver wig and will probably get her a black one in the future.
