Dang it, I want to be a bit more patriotic and spend money on some Korean companies, but that's kind of hard when even their tinies are over $200. (for that price, one can get two BBB/RS 27cm dolls.)

I understand what you are saying about cost ... IpleHouse, Dollmore, and a few others do seem to run noticeably higher in cost

brands like BBB and a bunch of the others ... even the new one "Grenado" ... if it is a Chinese company, or I suspect that it is ... (if I am reading the nationality flags correctly BBB is Chinese) ... I dont think I would ever get a doll from there ... I may be overly paranoid ... but there have been way to many well publicized cases of contaminated products coming from China ... especially toys with toxic lead based paint, and other contaminants

I personally, and I am saying this just about me ... feel safer if my doll comes from some other country

unless I am completely missing the target ... if I'm not mistaken ... the JID "Soa" is the first doll from any company to offer 3 bust size options ... even Iple has only ever offered 2, if there were any options offered at all

I agree with you completely ... not all girls are built the same :D

No. I'm pretty sure a lot more companies let you choose. Fairyland offers 3 busts for their minifees: cutie, small, and large. I'm sure the feeples and chic lines are the same, but I don't know for sure.. I think BBB and RS offer different busts also? Maybe? I know there is the immature and the mature busts, and then the new Li, she has a very flat chest.

oh ok ... I havent personally seen any others ... but if there are that's cool

that might be an idea for a "doll information thread" ... to do an actual survey of different dollmakers and see who does offer what as far as options

on at least one other doll forum I have seen remarks that people like the wider choices ... especially on the dolls in the 16-18" range

*drool* Amy is so adorable, are those little teeth that I see? :o I really just wish that they were more cost effective, they are absolutely gorgeous but I'm having trouble paying off a 160$ doll I can hardly imagine what it'd be like to pay for her AND shipping from.. Korea? I think? I don't know hehe.

I haven't even looked at Iplehouse because of the prices.

Oh well, just another one to add to that ever increasing list of want-age.
