Some questions about Elfdoll's Seed Sissy

Postby 1/6andtinylover » Sat Jul 02, 2011 8:43 pm

I came across them and they're sooo cute! I was just wondering about some things.

1. Are they limited? If not, I can probably ask for one this Christmas XD

2. Is the painting free? Because on the website it didn't list any extras for painted one.

3. Do retailers carry them? Or does Elfdoll even have retailers? I did see one at Doll Peddlar though.

4. Any owner pics and/or experiences? If I get one, it will be the 1 or 3.

I believe they were limited and were gift dolls for a Xmas event, but now are available via Elfdoll and are no longer limited.

On the Elfdoll site painting is an additional $10. If you select "Painted" you will see the price go from $29 to $39.

Peeeerfect *evil laugh* now I can ask for one this Christmas! And Elodie will have another plant sprite type thing alongside her.

What? Is Elfdoll selling to the public again? Did they (wisely) get rid of that woman who was running it?

I won a Seed Sissy on JS facebook contest. Week 17 I think. They're adorable! And she has such cute little wings, and comes with a little bottle. I will take some pictures and get them posted for you if you like, today if I can. She's so tiny. I named her Faith. Cause she's small like a mustard seed. (har-har-har.)

Please do! I'm trying to decide between the #1 Seed and the #3 Seed.

Not that I'm aware of. I think they ended up opening their store to the public again after figuring out that locking out potential customers was a bad idea.

They still aren't accepting retailers, though. The retailers selling their dolls are pretty much still selling old stock.

Yeah, there was this period where ONLY someone who was "subscribed" and could subscribe during this teeeeeeny little open period could shop there.

Gee. No sales. Wonder why?

So the shop appears to be open again.

Well, after three days of not having internet access, I can finally do what I said I'd do. Gar... sorry for the delay. My pics might not be any better than what you'd find online, but... here they are. :-)
