I severely regret telling my crush my feelings. He hasn't spoken to me for a few days now and won't respond to my Facebook wall posts. *sigh* I wished my friends didn't get my hopes and made me rushed to tell him. I dunno what to do now, since he is one of my best friends... Or was at this point.

I feel like a zombie for the last few days, eating, showering, stuff, but with no real purpose behind it. It did help me get through rerooting two dolls though since I've been blanking out. But... meh.

Also, going a bit nutty waiting for my doll bodies.

Aw John that does suck :(

I'm a bit bummed because my dream doll in the resin department, an Asleep Eidolon Blueberry, is up for grabs on DoA for only $159, but the seller doesn't ship to Europe AND I reall can't afford her right now. Oh well... I'm telling myself there will be another...

I almost passed out in middle of a violin lesson. Not really, since it was just "urgh I don't think I can stand on my feet anymore" but my vision kinda...blurred? Something like that. Must have been watching fireworks last night and didn't get to sleep till 12 a.m. So I probably slept for good three hours when I got home and yay, there's other stuff this afternoon.

Thanks Mary K and Evelien.

Bleh, it's just really unpleasant since I haven't felt this awful in like 7 months and I have to work with my crush for like 8+ hours on Tuesday next week at this dance event my ex is turning up to with his new boyfriend and I honestly just feel like saying "Screw you all *ragequit*" if I didn't enjoy volunteering so much. Slightly sad just cuz me and crush talked everyday on Skype and hadn't spoken to him in three days now. He was a great emotional cushioning person that could help me feel less crap with him just talking. Bleh.

*ramblerambleramble* I honestly think relationships are not for me since the guys I date are less appealing than haemorrhoids and the guys people tell me are 'good enough' for me and are decent always friendzone me. It's getting irritating hearing I'm 'good enough' and I 'deserve more' and etc etc when I get the opposite. Bleh. I just want a funny, sweet guy who likes me and my dolls and is at least as attractive as me. *curses the sky*

Poor John! <hug>

My poor dog. She is pissing-herself-scared of thunder, gunshots and fireworks.

Thunder Friday. Fireworks Saturday and Sunday and Monday night someone very near by had Commercial class Torpedos (the ones that just go off with a big boom), which had her peeing everywhere, just running a piddle-trail as she tried to find a place to hide. Finally put her in the laundry room under a blanket until it was over; I couldn't have her WITH me because the noise is louder in my office than in the main house. More fireworks tonight. T-storms predicted Thursday.

*sigh*
OK, I live in the south (of the US), OK, I know it's going to be hot and humid. Air Conditioning is a fact of life. Virtually every home built in the last 40 years has central air. I get that. But what no one ever thinks about is how much those things cost to replace!

So, amid forecasts of high 90's temps and high humidity this weekend and last, our downstairs central air died. The upstairs unit is running 24/7 trying to compensate. The system is 14 years old and a "builder's special" put in when the house was built - in other words it's the cheapest POS you can imagine. We've repaired the downstairs and upstairs units before, but now it feels like putting money into a sinking ship.

So it's time to get a new system, upstairs and down. At least the new one will be more efficient, more effective, quieter and more reliable - and under warranty. Still, replacing the furnace/air handlers, cooling coils, heat exchangers and compressor units does not come cheap. Actually, I could buy a car for the same amount. A new car, and not a sub-compact either. The first folks we had quote us wanted as much money as I would spend on a luxury car, so we passed on that, and went with another system. One way or the other though, it's an expensive thing to do. Hopefully we'll be fully installed by the weekend. It can't come soon enough. During the day, the system can't maintain anything below about 80 degrees in our family room. That's about 8 more degrees than I like (being from the UK and having a Scottish father and all that, I can barely cope with 80 degrees in the shade on a dry day - ), and the poor thing can't cope with the humidity at all. The new one will keep us both dry and frosty - ideal conditions for humans, cats and dolliehs...

But, the expense...no one warned me of this aspect of home ownership in the South. It is very, very much teh suckz.

I'm sorry Highlander. I replaced a unit this fall for about $5k, replaced a used hvac with a heat pump. It might have been smaller than yours though.
