This isn't really my first sculpted jointed doll... just the first that will be 100% ball jointed, and with the most complicated jointing and bits. She's going to be 1/10 scale, and tops out at 9 inches. Right now her main body is mostly together and just needs to be pieced up and finished. Have at least 5 pounds of epoxy clay left so hopefully won't run out partway through.
You are awsome for making your own doll. My otter dollieh is currently shoved ina box with no intention of continuing anytime soon...
Anyway, I got Fluttershy today! But the whole pony thing is a bit of secret from my family. The dolls were ok because I promised to pay for them and stuff but not sure how they'd react to the fact that I fell for little plastic toys that are 20-30 years old
@Alopecia !!!
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads. The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls. Dolls @ home: Elodie Tarte (YuHao Tart)
My DOT Camine was shipped on Sat and he arrived Mon! Woohoo! I took him over my friend Cat's house, she disassembled him, scrubbed him clean, sanded a few humidity bubbles away and restrung him. He's gorgeous! Now for a face-up! Oh and clothing - Cat gave me a pair of pity pants (that she was given once) so he's no longer naked, but yeah . . . he needs clothing.
Arivan is finished with her alienification! She's outside drying from her spraying, then it's time to reassemble and see if she still wants the same eyes and wig.
Caretaker of the Axelsen household: Aria, Annica, Aubrey, Azalea, Asher, Amelia, Alantril, Arivan, and Angora
I sucked it up and RSVP'ed to the Dolly Dream Party! >__< I'm so anxious... it's on Saturday... I've never hung out with other dollieh owners before :c I usually just admire from afar...
