I have the need to do a project but no base critters to work on. I need a dozen of the same jointed figures of most any scale that I can add bits to and repaint. Either this will work its way out of my system or I'll find some somewhere. Just got to fill the need to make little peoples.

For some reason I've become completely addicted to Voyager. Am now eying Barbies to turn into Seven of Nine. Now if I can just find a head that looks like Robert Picardo...

For Robert Picardo get the guy at the very top, Gameitoy Dr J. I have one, my Dr Gibb, just make a wash of brown paint and you have his hair. Decent enough brand. Pick up some of their clothes, like jeans or scrubs while you're there.

Today we discovered there are bait and switch dog modeling schools too. Didn't fall for the "our classes so our trainers can take your dog on set without you and must use our photographer" BS. Walked out of there and called the BBB.

I've made two loli/steampunk hat designs (people sized for cosplay/etc) so far, and have a handful more to make (I planned them out on paper already). I'mma make maybe two more of my better ideas (out of like... 6 pending) and then try to Etsy them... after materials and the general time I made both in (I wonder if they'll all be around the same time to make), and guesstimating time for working on them on the others (I added up the price of materials needed on the non-created ones so far... then guesstimated the same time frame) they seem to be about $38-$40 (depending on complexity) ... which is about the same price I see on Etsy for less designed ones...

I saw a large person sized black hat in the gift shop nearby, also, right in view of the open doorway... so I picked one up to experiment with.
If I can get my hands on some clock/watch gears, I'm going to try to put a watch-gear design on it and see what happens. If it doesn't sell, then I guess I have me a hat. lol...
I think I'm gunna try to put a bird/phoenix design on the side... a topic I'd love to translate and build out of anything (and I'll definatly try my hardest on making look nice), and something I'd want if it came down to it... (so it wouldn't be a total waste...)

Maybe I'll try a BJD sized one or two... but I don't want step on any toes, of Yukitok, even if they're two different style hats o_O Mine seem to be more like the 1800s? feathers and flowers and ribbon-type
