A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

I only had to fire 2 different people from the simple task of holding her before I found a reasonable helper, my foot >.>

I don't know if anyone else is a fan of the oldschool Alvin and the Chipmunks but someone finally uploaded Sploosh, so amazing and so made my day.

A couple of weeks ago I was approached to set up a puppet program for a local children's event. I had never done anything to this extent before: choreography to music, minor puppet restoration, training newbies in puppetry 101, building some very simple stick puppets, and live ad lib with the MC for the program.
I am happy to say that it was successful! The kids and adults especially loved my big ventriloquism monster Eppie who did the opening with the MC.
The feedback I'm getting is making me think about being a bit more bold about my talents!
The second rejoice is that it was over yesterday and I get a bit of time to rest now!

*spazz* Okay, I'm kinda overeacting here (no dolls til the next break/vacation, oh noes) but I found the perfect body for one of my future-to be doll character! Angel of Dream is awsome. They have mature 1/4 male bodies, and they're 46cm tall! Tall MSDs FTW. My other dolls are probably going to be 40, 42, and 43-44cm tall, and they're all girls. I wanted a boy who would be noticeably taller-especially since the 43-44cm one is probably going to get a spiky fur wig that adds to her height. Now only if I can find the perfect sculpt for a dark male lily sprite....
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads.
The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls.

My Nagi is an AoD with a DZ head, my first doll in fact. I love the AoD body, great poser right from the start. As you said, a nice mature 1/4 male, not kid-like, perfect for my older teen character.

It looks like they can stand on one foot as well...the stock photos show a girl body doing it, I think. Either way, another doll to add to wishlist! Rejoice(?)

My RS Bei came today!!! Since she was an impulse buy I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about her but I absolutely adore her! And here I thought I would never have a 1/6 or elf-eared doll. She's completely precious and has decided that her name is Astrid. Also, she fits into like half the clothes I have for Ella, my Hujoo.
