Which is better, assuming I plan to strip the head and give it a new face up anyways, painting the body to match the head or painting the head to match the body?

I'd say paint the head. Body paint can chip, but as a head really has no moving parts, you wouldn't have to worry about that quite so much...

Some photos of the Disney girls have already surfaced. They're pretty disappointing compared to the art IMO. They don't look worth $60 to me.

I was all kinds of excited until I saw Belle...
Belle's dress is never nice. Why can they never make Belle's dress the way it was in the movie? T_T I love that dress.

I had a friend tell me it's too difficult to actually make. I don't know if that's true or not. It makes me sad, too. ;_; I want an accurate Belle, that's all!

When I was a kid they made a Barbie Belle doll and her evening gown was accurate. It was crappy, but at least it was accurate. But like all crappy made things, it got destroyed and thrown out. My Belle doll got thrown out too since I played too rough with her head and popped it off. FOO.
Tonner made a REALLY NICE Belle doll, not in the gold dress but still,REALLY NICE. For like, $150 and there were only 2 left >_< By the time I have that kind of money they'll be gone.
