I always find it interesting to note how much women seem to like ties but men will typically just tolerate them at most.

My guess would be that men have to wear them so men aren't often enthused by them.
Women on the other hand can choose to wear them. It can make a big difference.
Also, there's the whole idea of gender politics and clothing, which I am not knowledgeable enough about to pontificate on.

Wasn't all creepy, finally got to ride the Columbia, made it to Tom Sawer's island which is better suited for people under 4 feet tall, and spent 10 hours waiting for our Star Wars passes to be good only to get the exact same ending as before.

@DollyKim: I really need to get to Disney again. We went for my HS senior trip and despit a few bumps, I did have fun.

Do go, the very first thing you should do is get a Star Tours Fast Pass, then you can spend the rest of the day waiting for your time. I went the annual pass route, at $75 a pop for tickets it pays off with just a couple of visits and you have the luxury of not being rushed. Things like not getting a face shot of the yellow seahorse or waiting an hour to see Rapunzel because the first pics were blurry don't become worries. Yesterday was our last trip for our year and all we set out to do was ride the Mermaid, do Star Tours again, and gets pics with Alice and the Mad Hatter. Missed Alice, found Storm Troopers.

I picked up a couple of pins, I'm not in to the trading or anything, these just hit me as interesting and with several uses for the dolls and I.

Good to know, DK - we are going to Disney for my daughter's 16th birthday. She hasn't been since she was 10ish and it's been over 3 years since my husband and I were there for our honeymoon.

No prob, we went with the mid level pass but if we do it again we'll do the bottom one. Most of the blackout days are ones you don't want to be there any way, too crowded etc, then you can add a parking pass on top of it. Wear good shoes too, I've had to evacuate Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. One time with Space Mountain we noticed the ride wasn't smooth and told the workers, they shut it down and we came to find out the braking system on the cars was off and had it not been noticed it could have been bad.

Where they get you is the food, you don't want to know the prices for the Blue Bayou that shares a building with Pirates of the Caribbean or character dining. We stuck to the "cheap" places at $12 each, when we weren't packing food. Wear sunscreen and hats, you'll be on your feet the whole time dodging unwatched children and careless people in scooters.

I really need more patience. Tried rooting a head and after like 3 hours of it just not working for me I said screw it, I'll make a wig instead. So now I'm waiting for the skull cap to dry before I glue in the hair. *Sigh*
