Quidam...that's really bizarre! O.o
If it gets too hot again, and you still want to leave your door open, you could try to find a Japanese-styled screen to stand near it...the kind that fold like an accordion and have pretty designs on them. They're neat!

We have to evacuate tonight because of the hurricane but I start school Monday and still don't have my supplies. I'm not going to be able to get any of them until at least Monday, depending on where we end up.

Blargh.

Lexagon, I feel certain your school will understand and make provisions for you. I wouldn't worry about it right now. Just stay safe, okay?

If you're in an evacuation zone school might not start on Monday.

I have a tree on my house.
There is a tree on the tree that's on my house.
There are some more trees on the tree that's on the tree that's on my house.

Saw a bicyclist get hit by a car and probably killed today. Amazing how even being an observer can really shake you.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Yes it does. I saw a fatal accident once. Time will will help but it can stay with you for a long time.

I've heard back from the agent handling my claim. That's another step done.
