A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

After all the talking about looking for a BJD size horse, I found this at WalMart

Image

It is REALLY realistic. Has a horse-hair-like short fur coat, a really good head, THE LEGS ARE POSEABLE, and I saw a black and white pinto version and a brown version. I suspect they can be dyed. They say they are for 18 inch dolls (I assume American Girl type), which means they might actually suit SD as well as MSD size. They're $40. Took this shot with my phone.

My resin is still good (I think)! One of my test feet came out a little bubbly, but otherwise awesome. The other is still gooey. o_Oa As soon as the humidity drops a little, I am so casting more of my doll today!

Oooooh VV this is awesome! Very cool. I'll have to take a trip to Wally World and see if they have them in stock here.

I just got a photograph of my new, FIRST RESIN DOLL - she's in the 40cm range and the seller redid the faceup for me!

Image

... any chance someone can tell me what she is? I bought her internationally so I'm not entirely sure - the translator couldn't do her name,

Congratz, Skitterbug! The face looks familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it...BTW, if the name was in Korean, I can translate it for you. Also, seeing her price range and the seller might help.
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads.
The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls.
