That set looks pretty nice - might try to get one. Mostly for the trousers on the slim obitsu, and that green velvety top thing.

meh lead.. can't be any worse than some of the things I've come into contact with! One of my lecturer's passed around the innards of an x-ray diffraction machine, and warned us not to lick the windows as they were made of toxic vanadium (I think it was, can't quite remember). It sounded more like the voice of experience than a health warning! Almost as if he'd tried it and it was disgusting... Then there was the trip to the nuclear power station, and seeing the waste being loaded... Nah lead is fine

The clothes usually come in mix and match items based on one color. It took me a couple of years and sets to get some matching pants and jackets sets, they tend to reuse fabrics. Colors have been black/grey, silver, gold, pink, light blue, tan, maroon, and olive green over the years. Some have a doll some don't, just grab them the moment you see them before they disappear.

I sprung for the PTE guy on the motorcycle, didn't have the sculpt, and it's a heavier bike than the other one I have. Otherwise it was the same guys I already have. I'm pondering some partial repaints and remodels on some of the guys.

New arrivals to the Little Encyclopedia, or ones I didn't have time for with the move.

In The Past Toys- great headsculpt, meh body that feels cheap, okay range of movement, doesn't look good nekked.
Cal Tek- bigger size body, has some weight to it, okay movement, head falls off neck because there's no real male part to fit inside but stunning headsculpt http://dolfielittles.typepad.com/blog/2 ... is-in.html
BBI Gen 3.5- bulky muscles but great movement, would make a pretty good Spider-Man. Best performer of the the three.

Still have a Crazy Dummy to get too, another one with a stunning headsculpt.

HEY 11TH DOCTOR FANS!
Sit down, don't drink anything, because the Big Chief doll only costs...

150 Pounds, not US dollars, but pounds. US pre orders for some time next year are around $200.

Time to think how bad one wants that Doctor :/

As he'll be in first quarter 2012 I'll be able to save up by then, there's always Holiday money :/

I don't like paying over $100 for a 1/6 figure but having been in that world for awhile and taken a couple of baths it is a fair price for a quality articulated doll with a hell of a lot of stuff. Every joint and thingamabob costs extra money, the licensing fee costs. Some times you just have to pay the price to get something decent.

No prob, he's for the website any way. Going to call him Elebenty and now I'm putting serious thought in to designing a case to hold he and Ten in the spacesuit. Will post it on my blog when it gets together.

In other news the new Barbie Fashionistas are turning up at TRU and Target along with new adorable outfits, candy-girly colors and frilly sort of Katy Perry I guess. I haven't taken the time to see if there is a lighter skin tone that would match Disney Princess but it seems the brunette might be.

TRU.com has free shipping right now.

I've seen her, and she's light but she's not quite Disney Princess light. She has a sort of beige cast to her skin. She's got an Asian look to her, Kayla face I think, and while her skin is lighter than the tan girls it's not the dead white of the Disney girls I have. Might do in a pinch, but the skin tone would be a bit off I think. She's pretty though, just on her own. I don't like her outfit though except for the silver shoes.

I am so disappointed that the skin tone doesn't match for the Disney Princess. I was hoping they would. I have three Disney Girls that I want to rebody.
