And already coming up with idea's to use the thanks giving left overs....We threw most of our stuff out last year so we gotta find a way to re-make 'em totally different. Fried stuffing balls, hash, ect is all good idea's.

Pulled turkey BBQ. Shred the turkey and use it just like pulled pork.
Family size turkey pot pie will use just about everything except the stuffing and mashed taters.
Get eel sauce and make turkey sushi using turkey like the cooked eel (unagi).
Also, there is no law saying you can't freeze half of it and pull it out later. That's what we do.

Thanks! Those are really great idea's! ^^ I'll definietly share these with my family. Pulled turkey BBQ sounds like a great use for turkey especially! (We love making these sandwiches called the Dickens we saw on TV where we grill up leftover turkey on a skillet along with patties made of stuffing then have it on a roll with cranberries and gravy. It's delectable.)

The saga of my broken RAH continues, he arrived at the factory and they sent me an email saying they're going to try to repair his broken arms or replace them. Will my Peter (Parker) return or will I get a new RAH to officially make in to the 9th Doctor. His doll spirit has been at rest so I don't worry about that, mailing has a way of cleansing them.

Congrats!

Anyone else use henna to dye your hair? I'm currently dying my hair black for Halloween and I have to do another application as, well, when you're doing it by yourself it's harder to get every strand of hair! >_< Any tips on how I can accomplish this better?

Dressed as a lolita doll for last week's Halloween parade in my town, this weekend is our museum's ghost tour put on by a local paranormal group. Since we're the usual tour guides for the museum, my mother and I are going to keep an eye on things so we don't have items walk off. Mom's idea is that we'll both dress as witches (Hocus Pocus style, my mom is *always* Sarah Sanderson) so that we'll be prepared for a family party going on afterwards.

I only use henna... but to go red, not black. You have to be VERY carefully with anything labeled 'black henna'... depending on what other stuff they put in it to make it black, it can cause permenant scarring.

But in general using henna... I just get a pair of gloves, make up the mud and go to it. I use a comb to section my hair, apply the henna to the roots, separate the next section etc etc etc... Then after the roots if you are going all over (the more applications, the darker the color will get), I do the same thing to coat the rest of the hair. Tuck it all up on my head under a plastic bag, and let it sit, and sit... and sit. I mix up the dry henna with lemon juice, let it sit, then apply the henna and leave it on for up to 8 hours or so. Often I'll put it on, wrap everything up good plastic and a towel and sleep on it. Then wash it out in the morning. I highly recommend checking out http://mehandi.com/, not only does she sell henna, harquus, indigo, etc... but also has free downloadable patterns and information books.

Yay grats! :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Oh it was dangerous for me to watch the Liv doll commericals...They're less creepy with each time I look at 'em...Moxie Teenz Tristan is still calling me...

I need to make major adjustments to my list this year...

Livs are well worth it, and they often end up on sale when a new wave comes out. Stuff for them is everywhere and very reasonable. The only drawback with the Moxie Teenz is they're a scale all of their own, too big to be Barbies and too short to be Tonners.
