Dolly gods are being annoying again. In the course of rummaging through the web for 50-60cm male doll for Megu-Chun. I keep getting distracted by 70+cm hunks
Dexter (the BJD who can cosplay Metal Gear's Solid/Naked Snake) is now a part of the regular Iplehouse Manly Man crew. He just dethrone Soom Sabik as the doll I get if I have money to throw around.

You might consider something here for Christmas. (Wendy Froud has made and contributed a doll, for instance).

~groan~ Having doll monies and having to wait when I'm tempted by other things. I just have to keep focused on Dr Elebenty and tell myself all temptations will pass, and show up cheaper at Sprawl Mart.

I am working on some more reroots. Zoltan is finally getting hair cut from the Dracularas, a Draculara is becoming Lilac, a Frankie will go hot pink to match her lipstick, and there's brown hair I think may go for a Cleo, cream color for someone else, a Ghoulia wanting black and white. I could use turquoise and I'm debating buying a couple of hanks. I've really built up my rooting thumb!

Was at TRU today and browsed the doll aisles for a bit. I was hoping for clothing boxes at a good price but I wasn't really lucking out on anything I liked. I found one Barbie that had a dress I would've LOVED to steal, but she was $42 and I was like..."what?...no..I can't..." I've been picky about my dolls too because I don't want to flood my house with them. *sigh*

I feel that way about the Klimt Barbie. Great dress, but the doll doesn't speak to me.

So far as WalMart is concerned, fish are no more important nor require any more care than a carton of yogurt. Both have sell-by dates and if they don't make it, there's more where they came from. WalMart should not be allowed to sell pets of any kind.
