Well the bottom line here about that thread is that this is the internet, and people can open their mouths and spew whatever garbage they have in their heads, secure in the knowledge that they can hide behind the anonymity of their avatar and board name and no one will ever know who they are and where they live. They say and do things they would NEVER dare say or do in the real world. That's been going on for as long as *I* have been on the net, and believe me, that has been a very long time (CompuServe anyone?). That doesn't make any of it right, but it does go a long way to explaining why the brats think they can get away with it.
All you damn kids get offa my lawn!

LOL It depends. As a fair skinned black woman(that has to be an oxymoron), my skin is green where the blood vessels show through. But, I am an anomaly-I also freckle and burn without 70 + sunscreen.

I guess when I saw that thread I didn't think in racial terms. I thought of how people were starting to get into dyeing their dolls different colors and how the new trend was tanned dolls.

I myself dont like tanned dolls because if they get scratched it shows up more. I also am not to crazy for the white skin dolls because now that I own one I realize they get scuff marks on them pretty easily so for me its all about trying to keep the doll looking somewhat like when I first got them.

However I have a badly yellowed doll and I love her to bits because it doesn't matter if she gets yellowed or scuffed or what have you...

but like others said try not to take anything you read on the net to heart. People will always find something not to like. I always say --- there is nothing anywhere so great that someone somewhere won't hate it.
