I had a nice chat with the office of my senator today. He's on the fence with no strong personal opinions and really seems to be trying to figure out what the majority of his constituents want him to do. Here's a woohoo! for gaining faith that the people representing you are actually trying to represent you.

Got my lot of Teen Trends clothes today! They all are really nice, but some aren't my dolls styles(and two are copies I already have). But the shoes all fit great!(which is the main reason I got them). I'll be posting pictures when I can.

The results are in and it's official, I am weird. I went back to the eyedoctor today to try to do something about my glasses, which just weren't working quite right. Turns out my right eye is closer to my nose than my left eye, which means that their standard practice of taking your pupilary distance and dividing by two doesn't really work. We're going to send my glasses (I got two pairs, special deal through a big chain. Buy two, get a discount on the frames and the exam is free) back to the lab one at a time for the lenses to be replaced. In seven to ten days I should have the first pair (my favorite pair, I miss them already) back and we shall see. I decided not to send them both back at the same time because I'm kind of getting used to this depth-perception-not-walking-into-doorways thing I've got going on now. Plus this way if they still aren't quite right we can work on that and send a single pair back again, instead of sending both, finding an issue, sending them both back again...

I'm kind of relived that it doesn't seem to be a perscription issue. And relieved that I didn't try to buy a new pair with lenses online. They probably would've done the same thing and it wouldn't have worked for me.

But yaaay for resolving vision issues and hopefully working glasses sooooon!

A bit of happy, I saw my Ebay feedback from whomever bought Iceberg, the eyebrowless Lagoona with blue and white hair, and they said she's beautiful Here's to wondering where in the world she is...

And I might have to do another one but first it has to be one with stuff I want.

I do and it's none of my business. I haven't seen her on line and just wonder where she went to and of she has other dolls to play with or what they're dressing her as etc.

Ariel is all nice and clean and has all new hot glue sueding and nice, tight strings. I feel accomplished and have an ache in my back. XD Still debating if he could use another dab or two in a couple spots, but I am pleased. I think he is too. He could use a new face-up, but that will have to wait because we got over an inch of snow today just since I've been home from work. He also need his nails repainted, I scrubbed them down and need to find my gloss before I do them again. I was intending to brush on the gloss first to provide a layer between the blue acrylic and his fingers without having to spray anything. I'm debating doing it anyway. I know I probably shouldn't but I love the color on him, so it's not like I really intend to permanently remove it anyway any more then I intend to take out his piercings.

Need to find some appropriately sized bits to use for labret and nose piercings, too. Because he needs more metal in his head. XD Those will be glued on. And get some pastel plaid fabric for both cargo shorts and long pants, to replace the old, crappy Easter-print that I made right after I got him. My sewing skills have improved a lot since then. Feels good to have plans.

I think what DollyKim is saying is that she knows where she physically sent the doll but is wondering what the owner is doing with her. I think DollyKim would like the new owner to post some pics of the doll in her new home but knows that it's not really her business since she sold her.

And I know the feeling. Sometimes I find myself wondering what the people who have bought my dolls are doing with them/what they look like now/if they're still being used.
