I prefer the transparent rubbery wigcaps but they're more expensive. I'm not sure if velcro dots are what I think they are but I've tried pieces of velcro and they mess up my wigs completely

Its been a year since I got my 50cm Obitsu. At first I was afraid that she would have trouble co-existing with my 1/6ers who have their own hierarchy and projects/playing patterns. But somehow she managed to fit in without threatening anybody, as well as adapt to existing projects/playing patterns(something along the lines of the trainer and partner digimon/pokemon thing)

I suspect that on most days she thinks she's a very tall 1/6 doll.

Finally put my tall boots in my sister's wardrobe (she lives in Boston, she's never coming back to PA if she can help it and hasn't even come home to visit since Thanksgiving '09, I have commandeered until such time as she ships it north) and went through the pile of purses that I'd had on that shelf. I had no idea I still had so much crap in them. Lots of trash I threw out, found a couple dollars worth of change, and I found seven pay stubs from my last job in a purse I hadn't used for a while. A loooong while. o_O I should check the dates and ask my dad if he thinks I'll still need them for tax purposes or whatever. Got rid of a couple, finally brought down some stuff I don't want anymore, and put away some stuff I'm hanging on to for fabric. Old sheets and an old suit my dad was going to throw out that I'm going to use to make a 1/3 suit for Ryo. At some point.

...It's just unfortunate that because most of my time was going through those purses so for all I did there's not much of a visible difference in the room. *sigh* It's just hard to do things when you're constantly maneuvering around someone else's furniture that they don't even use anymore. I end up piling all my crap on top of her bed and blanket chest. I should clear off the blanket chest and talk to my dad about getting that moved to the basement. It would at least make it a little easier to get around her bed to my dresser and the closet. Which I also need to go through because there's still a bunch of her stuff down there too and it keeps me from putting things like my doll bags actually in the closet. Sigh.

Ok, that's it, I'm putting my foot down. I'm reopening my etsy store tomorrow. I keep putting it off thinking "oh I'm so bad at what I make!" but, no, stop thinking that. With every pair I have made they have all held up nicely for months.

Taking new pictures tomorrow and reopening the store.

I've been invited to a French Fantasy Literature festival. If my publisher over there will pay my way....evidently the government of France is known to help with things like that, so I am seriously crossing my fingers. My books are very popular over there for some reason.

Hmmm, do you think they might be popular because they are really good (well written, intelligent, fun)? That would be my guess!!

Ever look at your doll shelf and think "I have too many dolls of one color'' ?

MH Cleo is my only colored doll, everyone else is white. *headdesk* It mostly bother's me because I don't particularly want to be seen as "white-washing"... or something. This is probably bothering me more than it should. I should be able to own whatever dolls I want. Not like someone's forcing me to buy a colored doll.

But I am interested in having one... maybe a Black Barbie Bascis?

If it makes you feel better, all but one of my dolls is a white skin...and I do mean white. Bobobie white. It was actually more of an accident that it happened that way, and one of them was dyed blue. I ordered my RS jun in white skin to make him a water dragon, and it was my plan to dye him aquamarine. He got here broken. Modified the broken head, while I waited for the new one, but liked the mods. So when the replacement got here, I had to get a new body, of course, in white skin. Denverdoll had the RS Wu on sale for $135, so I bought the whole doll in white. But then I liked the Wu head so much, and I wanted to make him into a girl, so I had to get another white body, a RS Li from Junkyspot. Luckily I broke the cycle then, because as cute as the Li head is, it's just not for me, so I sold it to my friend. Plus, I have my RS WS Ai, and now I have an incoming Angelsdoll in volks-compatible white. I wanted the normal or vivid skin soooo badly, but the character is a vampire, so it had to be white skin! D: My one doll that didn't start out white is my DZ girl, and she's yellow normal. I do now have a Clawd and Clawdeen coming in, and I cleaned up my old Theresa barbie. When I can manage to get back to my doll wishlist, my next two dolls are both light tan, too, so it'll balance out soon. XD

I can't seem to own more then one doll in a skin tone, thank god RS comes in about 10. ... or not so much since now my wallet is forever hurting...
