I don't know if you're interested in making your own shoes. If you are, Tarja has a blog about making doll shoes and she finds MH feet big enough to work with.

Great eye candy, even if you don't end up making your own :)

I don't own any of the Monster High Girls, but every time I see this thread I start singing "Monster Mash" in my head. :D

I went into Target looking for a net cable yesterday and as usual strolled through the dolls sections. Not one MH doll on the shelf! I don't think I've ever seen that a totally empty shelf at Target. One or two dolls maybe, but completely empty? Wow..

I've seen that at Target and Walmart for a while now.

And AUGH... got my Clawd boy today, and what a mess. He had sanding marks on both feet, gouges in his face, hand and one foot, and the pinky finger on one hand was bent all out of shape. I've contacted the ebay seller, and sent her pictures of the damage. It was also packaged poorly; both dolls I received were! From two different sellers! Clawdeen was wrapped in a plastic bag and tossed in a box, and Clawd was wrapped in paper, bubble wrap, and what looks like a hefty bag taped around it. o.O I really don't want to have to go through the trouble of hunting down another Clawd, but I am sooo disappointed.

Well the ebay seller gave me a full refund (after I had to show her 3 pictures of the damage to the hand, AND show her an owner pic of what Clawd's hands are SUPPOSED to look like) and I managed to more or less fix the damage. I still have to polish his heels to get rid of the sanding marks, and I couldn't get the dent all the way out of his head, but I don't know if I'll be using it anyway. I heard there was a way to shrink vinyl heads, and if there is, I'm going to go ahead and stick the Clawd head on Clawdeen's body, otherwise both are going up for sale to fund a Ghoulia for the werewolf CAM head my friend gave me in exchange for painting her own monsters. Does anyone know how close a match those are, by the way?

I don't think shrinking the head will do much. I don't have Clawd but I do have Jackson and his head doesn't seem any wider than the girl's heads, just squarer and maybe a bit taller. If you shrunk it I think you would still end up with something that looks like a tranny, only now it would look like it has too thin a face. Even if you are trying to do a transexual, I think it might look better if you leave the head the size it is. After all Clawd and Clawdeen do have a lot of siblings so maybe one is a transexual.

There was a Clawd today at target. Finally some dolls! That's the first I've seen a monster since about christmas!

At this rate I don't think I'll ever find a Gil. :(

I want Clawd and Gil, I passed up Clawd today though...needed cat food more. xD

Haha yes pets do trump dolliehs.

Wardah, neither of the dolls are going to be transexuals. One is a transvestite, yes, but the other is just going to have strong features for a girl. Clawd's sideburns came off in the hot water anyway, so I left them off.

None of the CAM skin tones match the regular Monsters, for argument's sake Ghoulia and Draculara are a shade darker than than CAMs but you can mix the grey body and white skeleton add ons pretty well. Basically each Monster is its own skin color, siblings might be the same, and Spectra, Cupid, and the skeleton are based on white.
