Some videos have region restrictions and some websites too.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

Dang...Lemme try to make a bit of a summary then.

What you wanna do for a ruffle is go at the top of the frabric your using then go in and out repeatedly then pull back on the fabrc from the last stitch and it should turn into a ruffle. Tie that off and continue...I hope I got that right...I'm still practicing.

you mean, do a running stitch across the top and pull until it starts ruffling, then tie off the thread and sew onto whatever you wanted to have a ruffle on?

You can do it that way (explained by knittnkitten) but the super easy really lazy way to do ruffles, is to set the stitch length on your sewing machine to the highest (it's 5 on mine; on straight stitch) but don't mess with your tension. Then just sew! It automatically makes ruffles. >w< Then you just sew your ruffle strip to whatever you're making (make sure to adjust your stitch length back to normal) .

Heh yeah I do mine the running stitch style...My sewing machine doesn't have any specific speeds or setting's it's just a crap one. But I've been using my ruffle strips to make skirts.

Finished watching The Hanging Gale, for anyone curious where the 8th Doctor's look comes from and why he had to wear the wig.

T_T for anyone who needs a good cry, good bit of history too. Scary thing is how much of it can apply today with one option for dealing with the poor being cheaper than another.

Now my mind wonders to the possibility of making hairpieces so my dolls can have romantic hair...
