You've never searched vacuum leavings for a 1/6 scale uniform button...

Well, I was Googling for pics of Stephen McGann and what turns up? My before and after of the doll head I did but not anywhere where I've posted it or a doll or fan site, just a link dump. Or so I'm guessing from the address that's associated with it, I love you can mouse over Google images and get that. Amazing where things on the internet go. Yeah, I could water mark everything I put out but meh, half the people out there slap theirs on top of yours any way. I just trust my plastic people can take care of themselves.

Off to see if I can find any of my Monster reroots in their new homes that way...

Nope, they are indeed. Aside from perhaps the Silkstone styles, most look like they are styled for three year old girls and aren't expected to last three months.

Agreed, I remember the Fashion Avenue Barbie clothes from the 90's, they were always so nice looking, and lasted forever. I miss the older Barbie stuff(when I was little our old Walmart had like two aisles of pure Barbie Hot Pink, now it's half an aisle). I'm not into the newer stuff, but I do go check them out every time I'm in a store with a toy section.

I think Barbie looked prettier overall in the nineties... I don't like her current look at all :(

I just discovered that apparently I've worn two pairs of work jeans almost completely through. Apparently there's a point where my thighs rub together and holes have nearly developed. I can see my fingers through. I've never had this happen with pants, especially jeans, including the jeans I've had for several times as long as I've had these! I mean, they get a lot of wear, but this is ridiculous. I bought them because I figured they'd last me a lot longer than the dress pants I'd been wearing and promptly putting holes in whenever I tripped and fell on the uneven sidewalks in the dark trying to get to the bus stop.

Hopefully I can get to the mall today or tomorrow and buy new pairs of the same brand as my blue jeans, maybe they'll last longer. -_-

wearing out thighs happens to me ALOT. >.<

the clothes even from 2005 were better then they are now. my momoko is wearing a nice purple coat with a brown collar and a matching purple houndstooth dress, and they are relatively attractive and well made even for barbie clothing. now when I go to see what's there, its all sparkly and pink and not very grown up looking.

Exactly...I liked Barbie better in the early 2000's myself with the fashion fever line. If I could find all my fashion fever stuff I had from back then well...I wouldn't be cringing at the three outfit fashion packs anymore. Anything I can't buy I usually make.

I've never had a problem with thighs on my pants wearing out before. >_< I did find a new pair, not the ones I was hoping for but they'll do.

I did also find some fauceted beads that should hopefully do nicely for eyes when I get my Pixiu, I hope they fit. We'll see when he gets here. The strings of beads were on sale too, so even with buying the whole string they're still probably the cheapest eyes I've bought. Long as they fit.

Thighs in my pants wear out a lot too. I'm down to one pair of jeans, and my dress slacks for work, because I need to go clothes shopping.
