Burn out is letting the Re Ment sit in storage for a year because you aren't feeling to in to anything dolls. I'll work on the LaDoll doll but I can't even get going on the heads I need to re do right now. My gang is just collecting dust in the dollhouse :/ I figure the love will come back, the Star trek figures have spent most of their time at this house in a storage tub but they aren't going anywhere. Just went through some papers and found a sort of dollhouse idea I had for them, just no room to put it anywhere or I'd start making it.

Maybe I should just start making it.

Still, I'm doing better than I was. I've rehomed several and am currently rehoming my big girl, but the eight smaller guys are staying. Most of them are special needs or have had to be rehabilitated, so I'd rather just give them a good life myself and not take in any more 'keepers'. It's very hard to detach and let go, but to see one go to the right home is the most satisfying thing in the world.

Temperatures have now begun to exceed 100degrees here in Phoenix. We are unlikely to see double-digits again until some time in October...September if we are lucky....sigh....

What does this have to do with dolls? Hey, if you want to swap hands on an obitsu you don't need a blowdryer, just take it outside in the sunlight for a few minutes - it'll heat up nice and fast!

DoA . . . . sigh. We were all having a happy time in our local meet-up thread, discussing doll sculpt recommendations (for me) and new outfits and dolls received too late to make the last meeting when a mod came in, started deleting posts and (nicely) smacked us on the hand for being "off topic".
