Ick.... just finished de-hairing my GB Cleo.... some of the globs of glue I pulled out were as big as her friggin face! Why? Why, Mattel?

Ok, I do actually know why; because these are playline dolls, meant to suffer the abuse of children. It was dramatic rhetoric.

Also... I'm not particularly enamored of the magenta wig that came with the CAM werewolf. It looks.... scruffy and thin and plastic-y while standing next to Blue and her lovely Liv wig.

I love the color, it's close to a color I was thinking about doing a Draculara with.

Looks like some people are taking pre orders for the CAM Lab and saying it's due May 29. Now thinking the rules of pre orders are 30 days or less that does give us a heads up.

It makes me want to ask if anyone on the board is a dealer because goodness knows there would be enough of us who want these things to justify a case.

In fact, Gwendolyn (my dragon girl made mostly from werewolf parts) and Nova (Skeleton head on obitsu body) have been fighting over it even though I got them some very pretty Liv wigs...

If perchance there is a stray Operetta in TRU tomorrow when I go I may just break out the CC and go for it, but it's not very likely the way they're scalping the MH dolls on CL here. If there is even one on the shelf I'll be amazed. Of all the MH dolls though she's the one I want the most. The Phantom girl totally rocks and even if I wasn't into the MH dolls at all I'd still get her if I could actually lay my hands on one I could see. The only reason I haven't ordered her online is because there seem to be severe QC issues with these dolls and I don't want to pay $20 for a doll only to have her arrive messed up. I could wait on just about any MH doll but her I think. I may develop a bit of an obsession with her though if I am not careful. I've seen the fancy dress one that's coming up? I was totally awed by that one too. She's a killer character and very worthy of multiples I think...

Outside of the cracked Toralei, which Mattel offered to replace, all my mail order Monsters have been fine. Then again I don't freak out over a slightly crooked eyelash or spot because I feel it gives them character. The only derp I've ever had my hands on was the Jackson I purposefully bought to wipe.

lol don't get me wrong, I like the color. But I think I may go hunting for another Liv wig or possibly root her.
