Does anyone know if the soft boots are made of the same vinyl as the heads? I want to remove the red paint on the torelai boots I got, but I'm afraid to use the W&N brush cleaner on them....

I used watercolor pencils for a lot of the work on my Draculaura repaint. I will say this.... Prismacolor watercolor pencils are ok.... ProArt are not... Derwent so far work the best. Softer leads.

Also, yes, W&N Brush cleaner is safe for use on the Torelai boots. One is cleaned, one to go.

That's how my clawdeen was repainted. :) A bit of pastel for blush, prismacolor pencils and msc. I think it worked out quite well.

Your girl looks lovely! Guessing you used the pencils? :D

I got Abbey the other day, I hadn't realized she had glitter on her person!

I yeah, I already was using some for my other repaint, but not the eyes, so this time I used the pencil on the eyes too. just needed to seal it alot to really get the colors to layer. pondering putting gloss on the eyes and lips, but I'm not sure it needs it.

So I've now done 2 monster eyes using this method.... but everyone, everywhere says that you should always always use light layers of paint to do the whites of the eyes..... -scratches head- Blue's eyes were done that way, and I hated how they came out. But my Draculaura and Cleo repaints are done by using one light layer with the paint drawn to the edges for an outline, and then by carefully adding pigment and water until it forms a sort of.... droplet? Not really a droplet, but it dries smooth and opaque in two layers, without sealing in between.... I'll see if I can do a tutorial on this method. It's a huge time and sealant saver, and I dare say looks nicer than the layers.
