Riou's Wedding Clothes

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Just looking at it makes me want to see it with a plain lace slip under it or something. I just love it particularly the neckline. I have some material like that actually. It's a wedding or evening dress of some sort. It has a broken zipper so it ended up at Goodwill in the freebies boxes where a friend grabbed it and passed it on. I don't think I could do anything like that but you sure make me want to grab that material out of the fabric box and try, sigh...

The under robe will likely be his 'daily' wear. The really fancy extras are for the wedding, and special occasions I think. I do a good amount of costume/cosplay sewing and I keep all the decent sized scraps. If I'm not sure if something is going to work (and I generally make tissue paper pattern pieces) I'll do a mock up from scraps to test it first. Only when I'm reasonably confident will I use the 'good' fabric. Especially something as nice as that brocade.

Here is the ultimate finished version, with all the jewelry, proper wig, wig decoration, etc... and coincidentally it won Best Seamstress at the DollAkon Doll Costume Contest. ^__^
