Well spur of the moment buy led me to a Operetta.

So now I need to start work on the faces and hair...and start my monster based photo story.

People aren't doing Bratz Boyz. I don't know how well patterns would sell for them (outside of me buying a set) though.

I meant Monster clothes, that's my best selling book. As for Bratz and other dolls I'm not really into etc that's why I did the pattern drafting book http://www.lulu.com/shop/kim-reed/the-d ... 84657.html Easiest way to be all things to all dolls.

My mind needs to wander to the Monster photo story I want to do and if I can work with what clothes I have for them or if I have to make something.

yup! I will get it when I get the feathers. I can't get a good shot of the headdress, so it won't look exactly the same. but I'm pretty much going to "root" her with feathers ^^

A local friend of mine had the gargoyle girl, and she seems a lot better quality than the first few waves of monsters. Were I not having to buy a new computer, get my breaks in my car fixed etc, I would have bought her and the cupid one in a heartbeat.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

AlmySidaKay: now that is interesting that you say that the 'gargoyle girl is better'. ♥ we had been reading alot of reviews that said that the original monster highs broke in a heartbeat. there were some very annoyed parents out there.

perhaps they fixed some of the issues?

Yeah there's no more elastic and the hands are harder to get off. I got Spectra, SS Frankie and then GB Frankie and basic Ghoulia first wave. The GB and basic are strung in the legs. The newer ones aren't they got pegs...

Personally I don't think they broke in a heartbeat I think the kids were more rough with the dolls then the reviews say.
