Chelsea : @$$hole. Go away! Now! Stupid cat!
Jerry: I? I? I am not a stupid cat! You are! Oh for the love...!

Image
Gerschy : I'm here, my little love Chelsea! I will save you!

Image
Gerschy : I will scare off that evil cat, Jerry!
Sword peeking through the leaves : Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! That is SO funny! You? You scare off the cat? Get serious!

Image
Gerschy : Stupid sword! Shut the *&#% up! I will melt you down for the silver!

Image
Gerschy : No cats here. They left. I think I scared them away. I am so good! I show up and they leave!

Image
Gerschy : No cats here, either. I wonder where they went?

Image
Both swords simultaneously : They ran away from you! You save Chelsea? You couldn't save a flea!
Gerschy : Wonderful. Dumb and dumber, the speaking swords!

Image
Gerschy : I came here to save Chelsea. She is used to biting Jerry. He is so mean!
Sword 1 : See here. Bring us whiskey!
Sword 2: NO! Whiskey AND naked dancing girls!

...To be continued...

Any chance of a translation? German hubbie is away for the weekend, and my German vocab isn't that good . . .

I liked it. Talking swords? Kitties?
Why is it in German? Are you in Germany? I don't speak German but my dad did and I was kind of amazed at how much of it I could figure out. Thanks for the translation! :)

Talking swords and kitties, to which Damocles will refer to them (after they sleep on him, of course) as pussies. *smacks forehead* He's sort of rude, crude and socially unacceptable.

I'll answer the "Are you in Germany" first. No. I'm in Illinois, middle of corn and bean field country, the nearest local pool is 20 miles away, through farmland and pig farms.

Why is it in German? My grandfather (dad's side) was German and the older he got, the more senility grabbed hold of him and all he would do was talk to us kids in German, when he deemed it necessary to speak at all. Most of the time, he'd sit in his chair with newspaper and tea, ignoring us. That was easy to do once he turned off his hearing aids! :D (Grandma, though, was NOT a woman to trifle with at ALL!)

The maternal side is a mishmash of Prussian, German, Welsh and I'm not too sure what else.

So, learning to speak German (mind you, I'm not fluent and rely heavily upon a dictionary and grammar book with verb conjugation) only seemed normal, even though both grandfathers have been gone for years now.

Glad to have translated. I tend to forget that not everyone speaks German. lol! (Hubby and I do when we're out - and every now and then, our sweet sayings are overheard and the look of shock!!!!!!!)

Ha ha ha ha ha! Thanks for explaining that to me!

I know "LOL" and "RTB" and the various combinations for "RTB", "IMHO", ect... I've never really bothered to keep up with any of the new ones.
