hahaha... I just spent $126 bucks at Alice's Collections on YoSD sized and 1/4 sized doll clothes. and I bought Ivan a leather jacket and black sunglasses. Cause he should be cool. aaaahhhh... it's unstoppable!!! :-p

I got stuff coming but it's not dolly related except by proxy. I will be using it to take dolly pics, fer sure. Next two days it will be like Christmas around here all this new "stuff" is arriving. Photo gear. (Woo woo!) Lights, backdrop stand, new bag, all kinds of nice shutterbug type things. No, I didn't rob a bank. I just hit up my folks, and I had a gift card et all too, lol. Seriously, I had a bit of a balance and they loaned me the rest of the money to buy some new equipment so I could expand my business and get more. I was always having to rent the above and it was seriously eating into my bottom line. Also, I kept having to turn down some of the more lucrative jobs because I couldn't rent some stuff as I needed it. I'm one of maybe 5 people in the area who don't shoot Nikon or Canon digital apparently so getting my brand of equipment, extra lenses or special backdrops or whatever, that could be tough sometimes.

With what's arriving I won't have to go there so much. It's a good thing, and a few more jobs I can pay them back anyhow. I do have to sew up and paint some backdrops now but that's not that hard. Update, I got a partial credit on something. Amazon goofed and it worked to my advantage, and then I also did find some really cheap basic screens on there too so in the end I made out very well when it came to doing my "studio" on a shoe string thing. I came in well under budget actually. Didn't break the bank at all. Oh and I got two new and really nice Tamron AF lenses for my K-x in a swap last night. 28-80 and 75-300. No $$$ involved. So I'm pretty well set for new toys! All and all it's been like Christmas in May around here and I am just loving it! ;P

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! Finished the face-up (FINALLY) on my 48cm Obitsu!!!!! :3 I have been working so long on painting and such that I hardly ever get dolly time-- but I recently got the face-up itch sooooo bad. Gonna try and see how many of my girls I can get done. Will post pics as soon as manage some time to take them. ~__^ Hopefully later today or tomorrow, especially if my Twin Snow eyes come in!

My manager told me today how well I'm doing and told me that I've really stepped up to the plate, that I've learned really fast, and she's had a bunch of the employees come in and tell her how much they love having me on board. They said I'm polite, and hard working, and always smiling. I'm SUCH a dweeb that I got all misty eyed. It makes busting my ass worth it. Well, that and the wages, but that goes without saying. XD She also told me that I'm going to have lots of hours in the coming weeks. So much so that we're going to have to be careful that I don't go into overtime. And we're mostly caught up on our bills (except rent, but that's because we're with-holding rent until the landlord fixes the gosh-darn leak in our sink, the hole in the bathroom wall, the back door that doesn't lock, etc) so I'll have dollieh money!
