Either I'm losing my effing mind or something else because I got restless sleep last night and dreamt about the doll I'm saving up for. Images of a blurred out figure with elf ears, a box with two dollieh sized boxes inside (1/6th and 1/4th) and it just was like that along with someone scolding a "Prim" to not run around where they couldn't see her.

*Headdesk* Either I really didn't get any sleep and am losing my mind or they're getting clever....

I miss having itty bitty newborn potato puppies, I miss their 'guh guh guh' noise, how they'd go "huff" when I held them, and how they'd suck on my fingers. Now they try to eat the bows off my house slippers, whine, and squirm instead of snuggling.

So, we wait 4 months to get approval to use part of my daughter's inheritance toward the purchase of a house, missing out on some of the best prices in decades. We finally get the approval only to have the market dry up and then lose out on 4 houses to other bidders. We finally find a house that meets our needs and wants and our offer is accepted. The house passes inspection with flying colors.

Then yesterday we find out that the appraisal came in more than $10,000 below our offer!!

Sigh. We aren't restricted by a mortgage company so we could still by the house anyway. I really expected it to appraise slightly below our offer and was okay with that as long as it wasn't too much. Even the appraiser said the house is worth the money, it's just that the economy has tanked the value of houses so much. The owners are a military family in a transfer situation. I don't know how much more they can bring to the table to make up the difference or meet us in the middle somewhere . . .

Sigh ...Yeah though in my case action figures... Oh tiny yellow wolverines whatever happened to you? You used to have such fun with the mysterious white suited power ranger... (Who had 2 heads! Seriously you pressed a button and his torso popped open and his helmet/non-helmeted face would appear! He was awesome, even if he looked nothing like the guy in the TV show when they eventually revealed who he was ¬.¬)

Yep... Even though the new guy's head has yet to arrive and his personality is still not sorted I'm already a grouchy ball of want for another SD sized dollieh... Or 3... Eek!
I'm imagining 2 60cm elf siblings to torment him constantly... And I've already picked out the 2 sculpts to save for... Even though there's no way in hell I'll be able to afford them any time soon... This hobby is dangerous!
