I have a question about these Monster Girls. I know the CAM kits have the dolls almost completely disassembled. Once you put them together can they come back apart, like an Obitsu? How and where do they come apart? I've only seen the boxed sets in passing, not up close. I have a character I want to make into a doll, but she has a very specific look, and to make her outfit, I'd much rather it be one piece and take off her arms and legs to get it on and off than to add fasteners.
Also, are there any that have anywhere close to a light skin tone color? Maybe something really pale pink?

ShadowKat: i have one of the CAM packs, but i am missing a torso piece so i cannot tell you if they can be put together and pulled apart. I did pull Torelei's tail in and out and that seemed to be fine.

The CAM pack monster that i have is a light pink. It is a Sea Monster of some sort.

I have just gotten this darling little custom by FeralWorks: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/833582 ... d=83358243

I am now looking for furniture for her.

edited to add: PopularFizzyDrink: your girl is soooo adorable. ♥ You did a great job on her.

@ShadowKat: Yes, the CAM kits come apart once put together. Actually, the arms come apart at the elbow and wrist on the regular monsters too, for exactly that reason; ease of dressing. The CaMs come apart at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. Draculaura has a pale pink skin, as does the CAM vampire girl, so maybe look into those?

my best friend got a ghoulia from an outlet store, which she was deboxed and missing a limb. So they sold it to her for 2 bucks. Well she passed her on to me. She needs new elastics in the leg, a new elbow on down arm. I can accomplish that with my spare parts.

I think I am going to turn her into a tribute doll....I am thinking Sharon Needles, season 4 of Rupaul's drag race's winner. I am just in love with her spooky self, and a grey bodied doll will suit her just fine.

Sharon Needles... forever and ever and ever.

I love Rupaul's Drag Race.

Went Monster Hunting this last week with Liz and really didn't find much of anything... oh well - that's how it goes! My daughter got to play with a whole bunch of them and still hasn't picked out a favorite character.

Thanks Cat and OkamiKodomo! Now that I know that I'll have to keep my eye out for Monsters. I've been wanting to make this doll for over 3 years now, and I couldn't find a body that was jointed enough and had that "faerie" look the Monsters have.
Oh, Cat, that girl looks lovely. Love her hair. So fluffy!
