I've been admiring these dolls for a while now and finally gave in with an Abby (I believe she's a Skull Shores. She was in a bathing suit). Hey, sparkly! I couldn't pass her up! I'm in a rural area and the two stores that carry them are usually out of stock, so she was a rare find. I also scored two fashion packs.

So far I'm just calling her Sno. I really like Cupid's dress and may look for one on ebay for her. And I'm really hoping to get my hands on the steampunk one when she's out.

While waiting to hear from the car dealership, I stopped at Walmart, where I managed to snag the LAST boy CAM set on the shelf. Then I went to TRU, where they must have just restocked their monsters, because there was the prom set girls, all the sweet 1600 girls, a bunch of these playsets that included a doll and accessories, such as the Vespa Ghoulia, and a Draculaura with a bunch of make-over stuff, and a few of the new Doll and Fashion sets. I snagged an Abbey. She comes with 3 outfits, complete with 3 pairs of shoes, and some jewelry. I've seriously never seen most of these before. Pics when I have time. The shelves were full, and I actually met a repaint artist standing in the aisle, whose work I've seen floating around, and she actually said she'd seen my three repaints on DA before, which made me feel warm and fuzzy.

The Ghouls Rule line was released and ALREADY, can't find it for the original price they were released for. People are scalping left and right and most major stores don't really have them in stock.

You'll be lucky to get it for as low as $40 now. If you really want them, buy now, before it's so high it's ridiculous. We just ordered Cleo de Nile at Amazon.com for $40, but there's like 3 left and after that you're dealing with the scalpers.

If you wait awhile you should get lucky. Outside of Gil I grabbed before the holidays I've seen all of the latest turn up at stores on an average six weeks after release. Right now most Skull Shores, Sweet 16, and CAM sets are around. Of all places the book store, the one with the Nook, had some including Base Jackson for the going rate.

As for $40 I've been there and just gone 'meh'. I pay it and don't complain, I charge it and get it. If you have to have it yesterday you're going to pay impatience tax.

*TRU has the design Lab ready to ship out, I went with them and cancelled the other order because the shipping and sales tax was much less. They're also having a Liv sale.
