I was able to put a Takra FLCL head on the Frank Sinatra collector Barbie (pivotal body) and the Fallen Angel Stardoll on the Elvis one, the body is just a hint pinker than the face but it's not really noticeable. The collector heads are on the Stardoll bods at the moment.

In general the Pivotals work for lighter skin heads and there are subtle differences in their skin tones.

I would not even hesitate, lol. Those are hybrid Barbies already if you think about it. Old mold, new paint ups. I get one she's going on a Liv or an Obitsu even maybe. Ditto the Ken if I could do it. If ever a pair of Barbies deserved articulation and plenty of photo time it's those two! I just got the blond #9 Barbie Basics Midge yesterday. First thing I did was behead her so I could articulate her. I don't care if she is a $20 "model" Barbie. As sassy as she is she needs to be able to move! Actually I have most of my best Midge dolls on Liv bodies or Fashionista ones now I think. Most of the FF girls too. I only have 3 of the BB girls so far but they're all going on other bodies as I get more. I don't like the MM body much. I don't like Barbie dolls that look like they have anorexia.

Necroing this topic to ask if anyone knows what skin tones from Mattel match the Volks Neo Guy skin tones, both the Natural, and the Guy colors.

I cannot be absolutely sure because I have only two Neo Goh and no new Kens, but the guy skin seems really close to the new paler Kens. Natural Volks skin is identical to Obitsu natural and is a pale pink, and I don't think there is a Ken with this skin tone.

So far I've not been able to find a match to the Guy color. Goh natural matches Obitsu Normal. I haven't seen a Ken pale enough outside of Edward Twilight but he's closer to Volks and Obitsu white.

Being Ken heads are soft you might be able to dye them.

What about stiff limb Disney Princesses? What matches those besides the obvious jointed Princess bodies. (looking for possible cheaper options)
