I can't ignore the silly lucky stuff like catshem's: I'm so happy for you!! ;)

My boyfriend wasn't quite so lucky the other day. He ended up wiping the sidewalk in front of our home. Eggs everywhere. LOL.

Had an overnight trip to Maryland with my mom, to check up on her boyfriend's house. Today we went to Baltimore to the aquarium. It was awesome. We arrived early enough that we got to see the divers feeding the rays and the big turtle in the main tank, and then the puffin feeding, and there were more divers cleaning the huge tropical fish exhibit. One of them took handfuls of gravel and let it fall, and all the fish would swarm under it for a gravel shower. Got some awesome pics of that.

Even better, went through the rainforest at the top, and got to see the golden lion Tamarin. I've been to that aquarium half a dozen times and that's the first time I actually ever saw the monkeys. Got pics of that, too.

Getting out of Baltimore was a bit tricky since my GPS seemed extremely confused and had no idea where it was going (is there some sort of space/time flux hovering over Baltimore I don't know about? LAST time we were there, my mom's GPS tried to get us to Pennsylvania through New York. O_o ). But we managed to get on the right track and once out of Baltimore it was smooth driving home (aside from the nerve-wracking thunderstorm we had to drive through on the way). Was a very nice mini-vacation.
