I tried to watch every episode from the old series but admittedly I just can't get through certain Doctors. I don't mind the first 4 but I can't say I'm devoted to seeing every episode though I have seen most of theirs I think. I love Doctor 5 and will rewatch him over and over. I absolutely hated 6, can take or leave 7, like 8, 9, and LOVE 10. I rewatch Tennant all the time. 11 is okay, but I'm not all devoted.

I like Rory and Amy more I think and once they are gone I have a feeling I will be yawning. I'm actually not too keen on Smith doing more than another year. I'm hoping they'll regenerate 11 after next season, I really am, though I think I'm bound to be disappointed on that. I think Smith is signed up through 2014 actually, sigh. He's kind of like McCoy for me. I don't really mind him. He's no Colin Baker (gag) but I can't say I'm really enjoying his tenure as The Doctor either and I know that once he's off I will never likely watch his episodes again.

As much as I love Sherlock I really wish Benedict Cumberbatch had taken the darned role when it was discussed. I can't help but look at that guy and see The Doctor Who Never Was and not want to cry with vexation. He'd have been so darned amazing!!! They've been talking guest spot as someone else. There were even Cumberbatch as The Master rumors, but John Simms has said he's coming back as the Master so that's not going to happen. Me, I just want to see Matt Smith regenerate into Cumberbatch or maybe the next Doctor whoever he is to do that.

They actually only have two Doctors to go if they are not going to reset The Doctor's regeneration cycle somehow. He can only regenerate 12 times and there can only be 13 Doctors, unless they decide to give him another regeneration cycle like they did with The Master. I think they should save the best for last and ask Cumberbatch again. Maybe make a 2 part big screen movie transitioning the series to film for the end and call it "The Last Doctor." I think he'd do it then and I do think it would be a huge hit and a fitting end to the series besides.

They're gonna reset the Doctor, if they have balls they might do a complete reset and truly wipe his memory, not like they did with 8. He'd be able to use the TARDIS and do instinctual things but otherwise...

I was poking Nicholas Rowe towards the TARDIS but not as hard now that I get the feeling he doesn't have enough of the sense of silly that's needed. Alexander Siddig almost does but he comes across a bit twitty, in a good way. Hugh Laurie could do it if they want a Doctor who's potty trained.

I spent the last 6 months refusing to watch the Matt Smith episodes because I had finally finished catching up on David Tenant and wasn't ready to let go of his Doctor. Then the other night happened. I'm planning on having Dani cosplay Amy Pond as the kissagram cop with Taavi being her Doctor.

Love Matt Smith - he's my favourite Doctor since the show started again, but damn, can't they give him any properly interesting stories? Of late I've gotten frustrated with the way the whole 1st 30 minutes of set up is inevitably wasted... Not that the RTD era wasn't guilty of that...

McGann = Love, seriously, what with the audio plays, the novels (amnesia!8) and the comics there's just so much there! Such a shame he didn't get more screen time... sigh
Then it's Troughton, Tom Baker, second half of McCoys run, and Pertwee (I like Pertwee - I don't like the way the Doctor was written...).

I find Davison a bit bland, but he's likeable enough, 6 is unpleasant and Hartnell is interesting, but so far removed from the rest of it that it's just a bit of an oddity to me
