Hmmm......I put the stands next to the Spectra doll (I haven't removed her from box, so I can't actually put her in one.) and I'd definitely say the 10" Skipper stands are exactly her size.

The 9" will work just as well, too---you'll just need to slide the stem up (the Kaisers are adjustable) to accomodate where their waists are. It just depends on if you plan to possibly use the stands on taller dolls, too. If so, then the 10" will fit MH and Obitsu. If you plan to use them for MH and shorter dolls, then the 9" will be best. ^^

But both sizes will work for MH, just 10" will be more 'default' MH sized:

Nice Spectra! :) Thanks for the comparison photos -- we'll definitely have to get our hands on some of those!

Thanks! I couldn't resist her because she's purple! (My fav color. ^^)

Anyway, I recommend getting the stands in black----it's so much more elegant and dramatic than white.

The white is good, too----I use white for my Sailor Moon Team dolls, but black for my X-Men, La Corda, HaruToki, and Yugioh dolls.
The Gundam Wing team have the rainbow stands.

And you won't regret buying these Kaisers! They stand up to anything, and are really nice to see and use!

Crossing my fingers that my epoxy putty neck piece will hold up putting a vinyl head off and on. Waiting for the stuff to finish curing and then it will be the moment of truth. And if it works, Jackson will have a lovely new Volks body. And he'll need a name.

>_> So, my floating Clawdeen body that used to be Ataraxia's body has a completely broken-off neck peg... has anyone else had this problem, and found a way to fix it?
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I finally found my own Spectra today! :D They had both the main line and the Dot Dead Gorgeous ones at Toys R Us. I got both just in case since I was in a hurry, though I was really only interested in the regular one. I'll have to look over the Dot Dead Gorgeous one after work and decide whether to keep or resell/return. :P

I spied in Spectra's diary and she seems really different than how she's portrayed in the webisodes. But maybe that's cause she hasn't been around much.
@Hubs: She's on your desk floating and haunting the Abbey's, Operetta, and Frankie.

Woo! It works! Head is a bit loose, nothing some hot glue won't fix, but the epoxy peg holds it on!

And on a related note:

I used some of the epoxy putty you can get at a hardware store (I think I actually got mine at wal-mart lol!) to mod the Volks Neo Guy neck piece to hold my Jackson head on. My recommendation is to get some of that, a small tube cost me about $3 and it's lasting me a while. If you can reach part of the peg at all, glob some putty on there, and mold it into an ovoid of some kind, wider than the hole of the head you're attaching, but small enough to fit in.... gah let me get pictures.

(omg these images look so... wrong)
