@u@ Am I the only one who gets really into looking at dolls and doll related topics and ends up feeling kind of groggy and having no idea where the past 3-4 hours have gone?

When I realize where the times gone and what I've been doing it feels strangely similar to how i feel after a night of drinking way more than i should.

...but in a good way

lol Minus the nausea and pounding headaches, of course.

I feel that way no matter what I'm doing. Groggy and wondering where the time is gone, I mean. Of course, that might have more to do with me being generally sleep deprived, since I work third shift five to six days a week. And if I sleep more than six hours at a time I end up feeling REALLY groggy. I guess too much sleep isn't good for me, either.

Oh yeah... you know me, Miss Obsessive here. I'm still going stir crazy waiting for the dolls I ordered a month ago, so for the last few weeks I just keep staring at dolls EVERYWHERE torturing myself. I just can't help it though! I just want to stare, but staring makes me want to buy more *sigh*

I even know that I should be doing other things, getting stuff done, but I want to look at the darned dollies! Even the 2 that I do have here, sometimes I just sit there and stare at them hehe. Yeah that makes me sound weird... I mean I'm not self-centered, but I can't help thinking how much prettier the dolls look after I painted them than when they arrived blank. And I love making the clothes and just adjusting their outfits and stuff hehe.

Nope... I do spend a lot of time on the computer, but I don't ever stare at doll stuff so much that I make myself sick.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I have that problem sometimes.. During the day I'll tell myself "Ok, tonight I will just check these forums and then I'll have a nice quiet night making that outfit fot my doll or making that necklass" or somehting. Just a nice craft evening. And I will look forward to making the stuff I plan on all day prior to that evening too. But that evening somehow when I find myself again I realise I have spend the last past hours looking at those forums AND flickr AND deviant AND other places where dolls can be found and its bed time and I didnt do anything with my clothes making plans or with my beading or anything... And then I am unsure of how to feel about that cause I should have made those clothes by now (they are all for my dolls so no one else would be effected of my doll stare activities. Well the doll whos clothes are not made ofcourse but I meen no swap partner or anything is left without stuff :P ) Should I feel glad about the nice evening of dollie staring? Or guilty cause I should have been doing other things? And if I should be feeling guilty, why? Cause the doll hasn't got her new clothes? She has clothes so shes not naked.. and seriously...shes resin so.. Or because I promised myself and didnt make good on that promise? Or that time has passed and I didn't even notice untill now because I was "into the zone" again?
When I manage to do this during day I am not at all puzzeled by how I should feel cause I neglected something important such as household stuff or something. But the evening generally is for me to relax and how I do that is my own choice. But still I will feel a bit guilty and strange cause all those hours went by without me knowing. Its like I'll bring my daughter to bed and look at a forum and and its bed time already...huh?!
Groggy...only when I can't sleep and sneak downstairs to do the "stare at dollies and forget time" thing. Then after 4 hours of being eaten by musquitos and chivering cause I don't have enough clothes on to be sitting behind a computer doing nothing I will go back to bed and wake up feeling like a zombie (well... like I think a zombie feels...if they feel anything..) drained of energie and with my head full of cottonballs. So maybe its a combination of sleep diprived/to much sleep/ strange day and night ritmes and dollie staring?

What I find myself doing is starting off looking for something for one doll, then finding something I'd like for another doll, and finally I'm trying to look for things for several dolls and getting myself all confused. LOL!

GO THE F**K TO SLEEP! Your brain needs the time to reset and learn new things. You will be surprised what regular sleep habits do for your mental and physical well being. So does getting up from the computer and moving around for a few minutes. Changing things for a few minutes helps refresh and clear your mind.

As for time management if you do your chores and assignments first you'll have the rest of the time to do what ever you want and you won't have to worry about putting things off. If you make a basic schedule and follow it you'll find your self adjusting, craft time here, cooking time there. Make a list of the projects you want to do and you can compact them like all the sewing when you feel like sewing.

As Jim Hensen said: No time is wasted time.
