E-Beth--Nice bed. It looks amazing~
Evelien--good luck! I'm planning on making some modular rooms for my dolls in the future (when I have the space for it, heh) so I'm really interested to see how your project comes out!

As for me... I just got some gorgeous black faux fur in the mail yesterday. Which means I can FINALLY make a wig for one of my more neglected dolls. And also I can trim Dino's mafia pimp coat o' doom. XD Now if I could just get some time off work...

Evelien - Rooms! So cool! I am thinking of not rooms so much (1/3 scale, you know - Oy!) as modular pieces that can be fitted together. A couple of 32" x 32" walls - one w/ a window, one w/ a door, and a 32" piece of floor. My idea is that they could be stored flat and then set up when I want to use them.
Like - well, sets!
However, after trying to use the kitchen table to stand in for a hardwood floor (it is larger than 32 x 32) I'm thinking virtual 8' x 8' pieces won't be big enough, unless I always do up close photography. I'll keep pondering.
Good luck with your house!

I just returned from the store with a pile of wood (here it's called MDF, not sure if it's an abbreviation that's used internationally?), and some pieces of carpet and linoleum. I have some spare wallpaper and plastic lying around, I hope it'll be enough. I rearranged my study so that there's a corner where the dollhouse can be setup permanently. I'll build it on top of a small table that has a shelf underneath for some storage space (doll boxes and such), and together with three stories (I'll build three rooms on top of each other for now) the setup will be taller than me, LOL - and I'm 6'3"!!

The pay for my holiday shopping Mane Six Monsters have decided they are going to be a rainbow! Pomodora is already red and I just found yellow and orange to go with the blue, green, and violet hair I already have. Now to figure out who gets what color. Maybe I should make Oreo bag dresses for them too.

So if anyone knows any rainbow lovers who collect Monsters they'll have a few months to save up. I still have 5 more girls to root. I can be persuaded to dress them and forgo Ebay if the persuasion is strong enough.

I found them in a store that had lots of antique-y, kitsch-y stuff. I guess I was Lucky. To be honest I thought at €20 the set was too expensive, so my boyfriend's father bought it for me :-o
