On the sale thing if I wouldn't mind someone I could do a "pre sale" with then I'd know I have the Monster(s) I want coming in and about when they're due so I can have my money ready. And having a limit on how many people can buy would be fair. I've been at the Mattel store enough times to see people buy out things just because they can.

I pre ordered Dr Elebenty, I'm guaranteed a place in the first come first serve line, they won't charge me until he arrives, and if I don't want him it's just one more for them to sell to someone else.

a friend of mine runs an online toy store, action figures and stuff.
one of his vendors is pushing him to get monster high.
because he is a young business (3 years now?), he doesnt have a ton of female customers.
so he wanted me to see if there was any intrest amongst people i know online in an online dealer that wouldnt be second hand like e-bay (so standard canadian pricing) and probbaly less likely to quickly sell out of his stock when it first comes in (like the TRUs with the resellers).

again, mods feel free to delete. he jsut wanted me to get an opinion from other doll nerds

I'd be interested in an online dealer. I'm in rural Alaska and was finally able to buy the first Abby I ever saw in one of our stores just last month. The closest TRU and Target is 150 miles away, thru the mountains so not a fun trip in high winter. Not that I go all that often anyway. We have a poorly stocked Walmart that is just over a year old and not doing well so it may close. There is also a Fred Meyer in the next city over where I got Abby. I really want a Robecca Steam and it's looking like I'll have to pay scalper prices on ebay to get her.

No, Robecca and Rochelle aren't exclusives- just in some areas, they're _very_ slow to show up.

Awesome! I love it. If I had a male doll I'd probably outfit him similarly. I'll have to check eBay for outfits.
