Someone needs to make a neat storage/display for CAM parts. Something that say 'arms' and 'heads' and 'tails', a closet for clothes, something for wigs. I had one planned out way when they first started then I ran out of room.

I found a site that sells custom made torsos and accessories and...it's pretty freakn' amazeballz.
I DO WANT quite desperately. http://www.plastic-curves.com/ -under the Monster High Tab.

You know honestly, I think Monster High are the best girls toys to have come out in a long time. There are so many creative possibilities for these things!

Oh those wings are awesome! So are the ears! And they're resin to boot. I really like the "spell compontents". Such cute tiny mushrooms! May have to get me a set.

My husband and I were talking about this just the other night! They're so much more than just girls dolls, too. They have a great appeal to older people, and even guys! Barbies just don't compare (in my opinion).
The plus side is they're really affordable and available in (relatively) large numbers.

Of all the weird things- stopped into my local Family Dollar today and saw Roller Maze Ghoulia and Operetta. O.o I haven't even seen those at Wal-Mart yet. We finally started getting new MH in the toy aisle reset- the Coffin Bean, the Ghouls Rule gals and some of the new CAM packs.

(Did find Robecca today, woot! Haven't had a chance to open her yet.)

The skeleton torso is tempting, I'd like it more if it was skeleton colored and had the upper limbs. Right now I'm keeping to official Mattel pieces, because for clutter, but it doesn't mean I won't change my mind. And with the Lab add ons there's an obvious need for upper arms and legs.

You'll love Robecca, they really did a good job on her details.

Trying to figure out why there are parents that consider MH clothing to be "sexy." When I think sexy, I think midrift bearing, short mini's for casual wear. None of the girls really have that as part of their casual clothing. Really it'd be the swinsuits but... swimsuits!

I think bright, bold colors on clothing make parents react weirdly.

But even then with the bathing suits, they are mostly one piece! GB Cleo and GB Clawdeen are the 'worst' but even then it's not that bad.

The only short skirt (that I can remember) is the first wave clawdeen. I think she was the only one that didn't wear pants or tights under her skirt/dress?

I think it's more of the fashion doll style is what makes those parents icky. Fashion dolls are modeled after Fashion Models, long legs forever, big lips, pretty faces, curvy bodies. It's just what makes a fashion doll that. I don't think those parents think of it as that. Just "OH GAWD. They want to make our daughters like whores!"
