Ugh. I hate the runaround for licensing. When I applied all it said was that it needed my undergraduate transcripts and for me to pass 3 tests. I sent my undergraduate transcripts to the proper places, and passed the tests (all first try too). Now when I check the website it says they need my graduate transcripts and I need to take classes at my local college.

So I've started the application to the local college, though I'm not sure a) if it's too late to apply for this semester (I'm almost 98% positive that it is but it'd be nice if they said it on their website somewhere), or b) if I can start next semester if that's the case and just take either winter or summer courses to catch up.

Also every little cost is just adding up. The job I had gone to the interview for didn't pan out, so I'm still scrimping. It also doesn't help that my postgrad university says that it will cost £2 to send my transcripts, but in reality it costs £15/transcript....and that's not with postage. Oi. $40 + $8 + £15 (+£2) = tired debit card.

Yes, we're ignoring the price of the courses for now.

So to save Larry's father from having to have the father's now-unemployed and foreclosed on sister move in with Larry's father and mother, Larry offers her a spot with us.

This has turned into:

Aunt PLUS daughter.
Aunt PLUS daughter plus daughter's 2 year old bastard.
WE supplied all the labor and moving van (from Florida) and a tow dolly, because "I'm just not sure of my vision driving across country."
Larry arrives there with extra driver to keep him from dying only to discover that NOTHING was packed.
And aunt cries saying EVERYTHING IS VALUABLE and it ALL has to be moved.
Larry had to rent ANOTHER moving van. And pack everything. There goes the spare driver.
Aunt decides she and daughter and bastard are going to STAY in Florida for "a while". No definition on "a while."
All of this crap won't fit in our garage so tomorrow *I* have to go rent a huge storage locker for it.
Larry and three vehicles and two other drivers are now making their way back here.
Note that WE are paying for all of this.

I am so over this. We are cramming all three of them in a 10 x 10 foot room and if they don't like it, they can find somewhere else to live AND GET JOBS. And if after two months they are either not here, or haven't got a place to put their stuff, I am selling it at auction and keeping the money they owe us and giving them whatever is left over.

A little sucky from me... I shipped a head in a package to Russia yesterday, with PostNL/TNT, the only option in the Netherlands really, and now the buyer (someone on DoA) is angry because Russia doesn't accept TNT packages to private persons?! Wut?? She says she only bought for me because I stated I'd ship through PostNL. Well, I DID. She says it isn't regular mail, but express mail. It's the only friggin' option here. PostNL and TNT are the same thing here. I have no idea why it would be a problem. We'll see what happens. I shipped it with insurance so it was expensive too. I hope it all works out, I'd rather not give a pricy refund after I spent so much on shipping -_-

I don't even know if they are going to be HERE while we are at D*con. They told Larry last he saw them that they were going to stay in Tampa "a while" and didn't specify how long "a while" would be.

Rented the storage locker. Got a the last 10 by 30 and got a good deal on it. I have it for three months and at the end of that time either they have a place of their own to put all that crap, she takes over the payment or there will be an auction.

Have not heard from Larry tonight yet.

Much of my wrath would be deflected if the daughter and her spawn are trying to find someone to freeload--I mean stay with--and only the aunt shows up.
