One of my roomies needed to go to emergency care today, it seems her jaw locked up so she can't close her mouth. O.o
And I fail at doing homework. Turned in two half finished assignments today. >< I will do better! I must!

lol, I can't even figure out who they actually want there. I mean they don't seem to like kids either. I think they really only want rich people who have no life at all outside of bjds. Nothing else matters, country, age, sex, occupation, as long as you think and talk about nothing but abjds that meet their criteria during your waking hours.

Feels like a classroom where the teacher will smack your hand with a ruler for speaking out of turn.

I saw it happen on tv during America's got Talent lol I found a link to it. I hear its painful but its kinda funny to see on tv. Also i want the girls hair.

One less reason to bother going to DoA.

I only went to the "over 30" and "over 50" threads with the sewing forum and sometimes the marketplace because I have NOTHING in common with anyone on any other thread. I don't do meetups, I am mostly unfamiliar with and indifferent to anime, harajuka culture, jpop and japanese popular bands, and I simply do not care about 99% of what concerns people on all those other "more important" threads. By pretending to be "more inclusive" they are actually being more EXCLUSIVE as they drive away anyone who doesn't share THEIR likes.

95% of the posts there are "Oh this doll looks awesome and I really want to buy one!" or "I've been waiting ## months for this doll and I can't wait till it's here!" I mostly consider it a place to go to to squee over things.

And that's about all that is allowed in most areas which makes searching for specific information hell.

The place comes off as being very pretentious and rigid.

I thought the marketplace would be good, but the vast majority of the doll listings, people are trying to sell their used (most of the time unpainted) dolls for what they paid, or waaay more than what they paid, even for dolls that are still available new from the manufacturer! wth?

I was so excited waiting to get access to their marketplace that it was a huge let down once I actually got there.

I just started a thread "Ever Feel Completely Excluded?" I expect they will lock it down and delete it in a heartbeat as soon as they find it, but at least I will have registered my dissatisfaction.

Seriously. It was TWO THREADS. Seldom went off-topic and then quickly got dragged back. A LOT of us old farts with dolls don't know how to search for information and it was wonderful to have someone go off and come back with links without being judgemental, or being ignored altogether.

Well the plain fact is I think the DoA mods all wish we over-30s would just drop dead anyway.

THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!! it's like taking a random group of 1000 people off the street who all happen to be wearing the color blue and saysing "YOU MUST ALL BE FRIENDS! you can't exclude anyone! And to stop you from excluding you must ONLY talk about the color blue! If you are off topic or group together due to similar qualities i'll kill you ok? HAVE FUN "

like you cant expect people not to wanna talk to people of similar age or someone near by or what ever else there was...

like, people can talk to the other members in the other existing forums right? whats wrong with trying to find similar qualities to bond over?

and its not like a group of 30+ year old would be like "so those 29 and unders..... they really suck huh? " like im sure they didnt make the group just to exclude all the younger people....

Having the jaw lock sucks. The right side of my jaw locked closed for about 5 days, made yawning and eating interesting. I have terrible TMJ, but I've learned to live with it.

My suck is I'm only 3 weeks into school and already falling behind. This is bad. This is my last semester. I can do this, I should be able to do this!!

DOA- Their party where they have little to no control over their day to day real lives so they take it where they perceive to have it on line. If you have doll friends you want to keep in touch with invite them here or start a social network group. It's not that hard on Facebook.

When ever you're feeling down take a doll out with you, someone called Xavier beautiful They had no idea what kind of doll he was, never heard of Dollzone or Dollfie or ABJs. X was beautiful, they loved his skull pants, and his Halloween birthday was the neatest thing.

You can do this! The last semester is always the hardest to get through. You're so close to being done though! Take each assignment one at a time and you'll be through it in no time!
