No dollies for me today. UPS be so slooooooowwwwwww.....sigh. They're still a whole state away when they were supposed to be here today, and there I was with 4 new sets of eyes all ready to try out before I had to box them back up for Christmas...10mm eyes, duh, I just realized that Liv dolls have 10mm eyes too so I snagged a few pairs of those to try out when they got here. I had green, blue, blue-purple, and hazel all ready to go, darn it! But I'm heading for Target to see if I can't find another cam pack so I can have a proper body for my GG. I want the vampire girl anyhow and they usually have that one so I may just get that and sacrifice the sea monster for her....

My dollieh will soon no longer be lying over the ocean! Dream of Doll just sent me a shipping notice today. Now I've got house cleaning, finish the coffin I'm building for her, order some 1000 thread count sheets.....there's definitely enough clothing around here....but perhaps she needs more! Off to the internet....

All the Little DOctors are dressed, time to get out the Pocket Doctors and build The Who Fort and put pants on Pete and listen for the truck all day when I'm sure it'll come after 5 and put a big neon sign on our fence when UPS has been here three times recently but they're bound to drive by and...

Even if they drive by today will always be his arrival day.

*Better late than never but still on 10-11-12! The first doll since Xavier to have a proper magical number day arrival. I'll open him tomorrow when I shoot the rest of his story. Meanwhile it's time to tuck all the Time Lords in to bed.

I'm waiting on a grey Hujoo Freya cat. I'm all excited about this doll, which is bizarre for me considering I usually don't like animorph-types (unless it's Bugs Bunny, LOL). I ordered 16mm green anime-style eyes for her, and eyelashes. I only have the vaguest idea as to what clothing will fit her, since the only Hujoo dolls I've ever gotten before were the little Hujoo babies (two Suves and a Ted). I guess this thread is a good place to come to relieve some of the pre-delivery anxiety/excitement!

I think I'll name her Fishbone. LOL. Although, since I'm a Harry Potter fan as well, I'll probably end up calling her Mrs. Norris.

I entered the Junky Spot contest to try to win a white Freya, but I doubt I'll win. There are already 5-6 entries there that are much better than mine. Sigh. I don't think there will be a 2nd Place winner, but even if there were, I STILL wouldn't win. Sometimes I wish Junky Spot would occasionally do contests where the winner is decided through random drawing, to give people a chance to win who aren't good artists/photographers.

Well, I'm expecting my dollieh to arrive on Monday, Oct. 22. I don't want to take photos of her without eyes and a faceup, though (there are already a ton of pics of Freya with no eyes or face paint floating around), so you'll all have to wait an extra few days after that for my pics.

EDIT: I just compared the Freya measurements listed on Junky Spot's site with a Momoko. Wow, Freya will be even smaller and thinner than a Momoko! Freya must be really, really tiny! I think some Momoko clothing will fit Freya, though. It seems Barbie clothing would be WAAAAAYYYY too big.
