Do other countries point and laugh? My state has terrible roads but instead money is being spent on a high speed train that doesn't even go where most of the people go. It only gets sillier from there.

In terms of local government where I am is just as bad - roads with massive potholes, so they build a new high speed bus-line on the sad remains of the railway instead of just fixing them...

Woo! The secondhand Gretel head that I adopted just got here - she was listed as stained, but the photo was badly lit and you couldn't see where it was/how bad

Well as far as I can tell the poor thing is basically brand-new and her previous owner was just v. fussy! The only thing is - I can't work out how to get her head-cap off/ or what skin tone she actually is... Seems pretty close to obitsu WS - just a tad pinker, so I think WS, maybe...

(also some misc. cat ears came in - less good, discovered that they're actually unoa cat ears upon arrival - which requires modding if I want to use them...)

The Gretel head only comes in Obitsu white skin. Yes, that Gretel head cap is very stiff and tight. Try warming it with a hair dryer till it softens a bit (don't worry it won't melt unless you touch the heating element of the dryer to the vinyl), squeeze the sides above the ears, and try to get your fingernail into the gap.

Most of my girls have Unoa type 1 cat ears. I've Dremeled many a mounting flange off an Unoa cat ear...

I finished the base of my Gretel head's face-up. He is definitely a he, I earned myself the vinyl equivalent of a death glare when I tried out feminine eyebrows... and he definitely doesn't appreciate any associations with nekos... and he wants a body... sigh I'm going to have to get used to those death glares - he'll have to put up with floating for at least 3 months until cash starts coming in again...

Woohoo, I got a hold of another one of the 80's Spectra dolls... found the yellow one on ebay... I wonder what head I'll put on this one.... >_> maybe my LPS Blythe?
