I.. This is just.. No idea what to say, this is just.. I can't understand this. I am so sorry for both Neko Sandy and KitKat.. I haven't been here long, and I don't really know anyone here, but this is just terrible.. ಥ^ಥ

Neko Sandy and KitKat ... I'm so sorry for what you are going through. After more than 17 years of marriage I found out that my husband had been cheating on me, so I do know how being blindsided in a relationship feels. I was also left with a mortgage and a young child to take care of when I was barely making more than minimum wage (don't get me wrong he did help out with child support but it wasn't enough). I used to cry a lot. I didn't know if I would ever get out from under it.

I can thankfully say that eventually things got better and I'm happier now that I've ever been in my life, despite some serious bumps between there and here.

Thanks to Jany and everyone else who has posted. Many *hugs* in return. At least with the cats, my mom has told me that she will take them in. I would like to keep them with me, but if I can't at least they can be with someone I trust and not in a shelter or with a guy who has suddenly become a stranger.

What do you do when you don't have a job (despite trying to find one), your money is gone, and the person you've been in a relationship with for over 10 years suddenly tells you it's over?

That's not a rhetorical question. I really need to know and I've been around this community long enough to know that there are so many different people here who have been through so many different things that maybe someone will have some advice for me. I hope so anyway. I've already talked to my mom, but understand she is in tight financial straights as well right now so she can only do so much.

Any advice is welcome, even just glomps. I really don't know what to do...

I see we're in the same boat. No job, despite my teaching degree in special education; no money; I'm filing for bankrupcy this week; and now....probably a divorce from my husband of ten years. I'm sorry...for both of us. For me..I'm looking for a new state to start over. Maybe even sleep in the car for awhile...soon to be homeless too.

Oh, crap! Hugs to you both, sorry to hear everything so shitty, especially before the holidays. I hope everything (or at least something) works out for you both!
