Oh, but that does still really suck VV. I hope that everything goes well.

Thanks cirquemom. With everything going on, I actually forgot that Thanksgiving was so close. Wow.

Gah, you know something that is kind of silly about all this? One thing that keeps sticking in my mind and making me mad is that I'm having to deal with all this instead of being able to help Kiki celebrate the release of her doll. Grrr...

KitKat and Neko Sandy- Hey, I've got a guest room and a semi-comfy futon if you pass through Montana... Wish I could help otherwise... :(

My sucky story? My best friend and the man I love may be going back to prison because he is a trouble magnet.... He has been in jail for around a month now and has gone through a few court hearings already, but it's still being dragged out as to what to do with him... I miss him terribly... :,(

I want to thank everyone for the well wishes. Every single one of you have a wonderful and kind heart. You know...this may suck now, but I've actually been through worst. I'll figure it out and start over somewhere else.

To Neko Sandy- I know that you are in a whirl wind of emotions and, probably, can't think straight. This is what I did when everything started. First, write a list of people you can stay with.

Second, if you don't have a degree or certificate find a place that you can get one. For me, I'm looking into Grad school or even teaching in Korea. If you're an english major..look into teaching English out of the U.S. Also, Look into Teach for America. It's easier than going back to college and they help you land a job.

Third, TALK TO PEOPLE. Keeping it bottled up will kill you.

Fourth, Don't throw away ALL your worldly possesions. Yes, you need money. Yes, you should probably sell most of your dolls, BUT if you sell everything you'll regret it when your life is back in order. Be smart about everything.

Fifth, Take a deep breath, tell yourself that you can do this, and flick off anyone that stands in your way.

cirquemom wrote:OMG-that is not a SMALL sucks, that is major. A dry socket is supposed to be the most painful dental condition you can have. I had one and it was horrible. I had to go in every day and get it "packed" yikes, for about five days until the skin grew over the nerve. The medicine they pack it with is clove oil (which is why you are thinking of potpourri). I was driving a school bus for a preschool at the time and couldn't take any pain meds.
My suggestion: TAKE TIME OFF AND TAKE THE PAIN MEDS until the skin grows back. It is basically a scab covering the nerve that breaks loose and comes off, exposing the nerve to air. Very painful. You have to wait until the new skin grows over the nerve and covers it before the pain stops. So don't be stupid like I was ("oh, I can't take time off of work!"), stay home, and take pain meds.

SetsunaKou wrote:Oh my, yes! What cirquemom-san says is absolutely right! I also had dry socket and it was horrible. I could NOT open my mouth at all. I had some weird side effect reaction from it that wouldn't allow my mouth/jaw to work! I couldn't talk or eat. My jaw was just stuck shut. I could barely open it enough to even take the antibiotics and medicines! The dentist felt so sorry for me and the assistants were all hugging and crying with me---I was so pitiful.

It took about a week to even start to heal and let me open my mouth, and by that time, I had lost 10 or 15 pounds and was really sickly because all I could take in was broth since my mouth wouldn't open. I was in bed the whole time and sleeping, sleeping, sleeping with the painkillers. Otherwise, I couldn't have taken the pain at all.

I've had a lot of dental problems and while those were all painful or aching and nothing to sneeze at, dry socket is the worst pain I've ever felt or ever hope to feel. I was crying and crying for the first few days of it.

Please take care of yourself SugarCorpse-san!! :hugs: I'll be praying for you!

Greyhaunt wrote:Had all four wisdom teeth pulled at the same time, got dry socket the next day AND had to go to work. Totally can empathize with your pain :( I must have major pain resistance though because I dont' recall taking any fancy pain killers or anything - just some advil until it went away.

thanks guys =3 apparently it wasnt as bad for me cause it was mostly healed with only a tiny corner exposed and i only had to get one tooth hole packed twice. the other one was fine after the first time. and the one that had it twice is fine now too =D he said it woulda got worse if i didnt go as quickly as i did =3 i barely even needed my pain meds <3 i'm sorry it was worse for you guys cirque-mom and SetsunaKou, at least you will probably only have to go through that once right? =x It kind of sucks though cause i had an appointment there yesterday to check if there were any signs of it coming back and my boyfriend had to take me..... but it was his birthday so i felt so bad about making him take me x_X'

Also Kittyasaurus, its awful to hear about your cat =< if i ever lost one of mine i dont know what i'd do. even thinking about a possibility of that makes me cry and all my worst nightmares involve either losing them or my boyfriend.

If i was in your situation i wouldnt hesitate to put the dog down just because a dog biting someone is bad enough sometimes, but it killed something....

When i was younger my dad had a dog who was half shitzu half wolf (his mom was the shitzu and almsot died birthing him as he was more then half her size at birth and grew to be full wolf size. he was huge....) and when i was about 8.... buster (the dog) attacked and killed a small dog that tried to attack my older brother who was 9. my dad saw the whole thing out the window... the little dog wasnt tied up and darted across the street and started jumping at my brother trying to bite him and my brother was screamign and by the time my dad got to the door and down the stairs buster had slipped out of his collar and chased the dog half way down the road before catching up to him and he then brought it back to the small dogs yard and shook him to death and left the dog on the steps x_x my brother remebers all of this too.... but the chick who owned the dog called byron (my dad lives on a small native reserve and byron is kind of like animal control there, he catches dogs and brings them to their houses and when a dog attacks someone he takes them into the bush to "put them down") and she also called the band office and the band had a meeting and my dad and brother explained what happened and then they decided that, my dad had to get him off of the reserve or they'd put him down and my dad couldnt find anyone to take him..... so my dad told us he let him go i nthe bush when we were younger then only a few years ago he told us that he got put down.... my dad still cries about it cause they forced him to let them shoot him when all he did was protect my brother from some yappy little thing that tried to attack him... If it was something like that i'd understand keeping the dog or trying to find it a new home but.... the fact that it seems to have killed something you love for no reason means it might do it again..... i'm sure buster would have done it again to protect one of us... but besides that he never showed any aggression to anyone ever. random neighbor hood kids used to go pet him and stuff and no one was ever bit or even growled at.

Thank you KitKat-san and everyone. I really wish I was in a better frame of mind so that I could give advice to others who are having problems at this time, but I can't. I can just offer hugs.

*hugs*

I really just wish I had someone actually here to give me a hug or even to just sit and be around while I start going through everything. I've been so used to having him there for so long that now that he's not here...

I actually think it's the not having someone here that is causing me the most problems. Does that seem weird?

I don't think so. I had my daughter (who was 9 at the time) with me, but technically I was alone. I lost all of our friends because they all seemed to think I should have just forgiven him when they didn't know everything that was going on besides the adultery. Heck, even my own mother thought I should take him back ... Anyway ... Feeling alone and deserted isn't at all unusual. Suddenly all those times when you cherished a few hours to yourself don't seem so wonderful anymore.

It's a grieving process, very similar to a loved one dying - your relationship has died. You feel like part of you is gone. I allowed myself to go through the stages of grief just like I did when my sister passed away. Being consciously aware of the process made it a bit easier somehow.

It will take time. You will hurt - a lot. It will get better.
