:hugs: I'm so so happy for you, KitKat-san!!!!! :) That's wonderful news!

And my sister and parents gave me some lovely birthday gifts todays, of Aurora from Sleeping Beauty!! Some nice statues of her, a rare belle porcelain figurine, and beautiful sconce style shelves to put them on! We just finished hanging them and it looks terrific! YAY! ^^

Also, I received a gorgeous 1/7 Seto Kaiba Kotobukiya model figure for my birthday!!
I had no room for him, but I finally figured out where to put him and he looks great atop the YuGiOh! curio cabinet. :D

Now, I'm just going to relax a bit, watch some favorite dvds, perhaps play a game or two, and not think about sewing/commissions for a little while!

Found out what one of my Christmas presents is and I can't believe how amazing my husband is! He sent in my old hard drive that's been broken for years and got it recovered! Icons, graphics, videos, music...all of my original stories, I'm getting them back! I still don't get it until Christmas, but YAY!!!!

I found cheap generic versions of my medications and can stop going crazy again! I actually have been interested in my dolls again, and I think I've found a new career path!

I don't want to drive a school bus for the rest of my life, but I was only slowly limping through community college. Well, I was standing outside one of the schools I drive for talking to the vice principal. He said they still needed more para educators there, I thought, no way.

Turns out I'm completely uniquely qualified for the job since I have been working with SPED children for years, so I've applied, and they are just now in the process of the background check, but hopefully I should have a job as a para educator here by the new year, which, sounds like a lovely, much more challenging career to me. (And pays 4x what my bus driving job does!) I've had problems lately accepting the fact that I find a lot of the web/3D design stuff boring or I don't want to do it outside of for hobby purposes.

I'm positively stoked that I feel like I finally know "what I want to be when I grow up".
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Congrats to Kiki-chan!

It's Thanksgiving here in the US and I've gotta say I'm glad that my nuclear family has all made it to the holiday season without any major problems, especially my still incredibly active, still working grandparents. It's an odd little rejoice, but after my mother was in the hospital I've been a bit worried.
