New arrival for Zirconmermaid... at Kiki's?

Okay, so Zirc's new boy is now at my place... and will be held hostage till I can clear out my back-log of face-ups. Then he shall be relieved of the current face-up. ^.~

I think the head is originally a girl? Question is, when has predetermined doll gender ever been an issue for me. Buajajajajaja!!!!

Anyway here he is. Like heck I'm gonna remember what sculpt he is, even if Zirc has told me half-a-million times. Though, one thing is certain, the person that sculpted the Obitsu Haruka is the same one that made this head. The similarities are too close. Kind a like comparing a Parabox Gretel to any other Rainman sculpts... the relation is visible.









The head is supposed to take 18mm eyes, but I shoved a set of 20mm in there. Given half a chance, I would re-bevel the eye-wells to accept the 20mms... since I think it looks better like that. Already checked his size against my obitsu boys and came to the conclusion that this one should go full resin; the color match is WAY off, and he'd look like a bobble-head on a vinyl body.

He was sent with a set of spiffy 16mm dollmore eyes. Not sure who's gonna get to keep those. I know that I'd like them, but then again, I just like random eyes. There's also a set of standard Glib eyes, not sure what the color is other than blah. Didn't bother photographing the Glibs, cuz seriously, those aren't all that interesting. ^.~

my god - it's a resin Haruka! And what's scary is I had that thought BEFORE I read what you wrote - the resemblance is that strong! I'd really love to know what that sculpt is if you ever find out. No wonder Zirc bought it!

He is a "Ninodoll Sukryu" and he was marketed as a boy doll. Ninodoll only does heads, and they are only available as pre-order around twice a year and on the aftermarket. This boy totally fell into my lap! http://visavis.us/nino/

His name is Delion, (really, it's Dandelion but he likes to be called Delion) and he's Hazel's big brother! I originally wondered if the head would be Hazel in resin, however she admitted that she got the idea from Seiki to bring Delion here this way. (Check out http://www.acrylic-eyes.com/)

I love the purple eyes in him!

He couldn't be anything other than Hazel's brother. Wow, that is amazing. I don't think I've ever heard (or seen) who sculpted the Haruka head. Elizabeth- what body are you going to put him on? AoD bodies are very nice.

ARGHH! It's 10:24pm local time. I am kidnapping Kiki tomorrow afternoon for a day of sewing and dollieh goodness. AND I WANT DELION!! NOW??? Poor Eclipse, if it works, he will have to share his body until I can afford to get Delion his own. The tentative plan is to get an AoD body for him. Whatever he gets, it MUST come from Junkyspot. I still haven't seen my new boy, and I am so anxious! ARGHH!!!!!!! Whimper...
