Tightening Barbie Joints?

Does anybody know how to? I have a couple barbie bodies with floppy knees and shoulders, and it's getting pretty frustrating.

Thin layers or a drop of clear nail polish will work.

I don't quite understand. Do you keep the joint moving until it dries? Or do I have to try to pop the whole thing apart?
