quick question...

Postby Siead » Sat Jul 14, 2012 2:41 pm

i picked up a living dead doll recently, but it's on a non-jointed body. does anyone think it would be worth the effort to try and mod her onto a jointed childlike body? i know i would have to hack off her neck to do it, so i want to know if it would be worth the trouble lol.

As a LDD collector, I don't think it would be worth it to mod the doll. Their lack of mobility is a downside, but they are meant to be collectors' dolls. Also, which doll did you get? Depending on the rarity of the doll, the less I would advise modding... especially if they're an older doll. But, hey, you don't have to listen to me! People on the LDD forum have made gorgeous customs and mods, so I don't see why you couldn't if you want to.
Most of my dolls are scary, but don't worry! They wont bite.

I guess it depends..? For example, how experienced are you with doll modding? If you're already really comfortable with it and you don't have any doubts about your ability to mod her well, then I don't see why not. But if you've never done anything this major before, it'd be better to leave her be or get a good amount of practice done somewhere else first.
