Yeah, I know I said I was going to stop with 3 but I decided I had to have one more. She was finally on sale for like $50 off and she has two outfits and 2 sets of feet. Originally the debut doll was the other normal skinned doll I was really thinking hard about when I was first started looking at DN dolls. I finally decided on PIP because I could not find this doll on sale anywhere at the time but in the back of my head I just could not let go of her. I've been looking at her at her regular price for a while and really thinking hard about it. I thought about putting her on lay-a-way but then I saw this, and well, that's what credit cards are for, right?
With the two from the debut doll I've got like 5 extra doll wigs that came with the DN's now and the pink PJ outfit I can definitely live without. Plus there are several pieces from her PIP outfit that I could also sacrifice without too much of a qualm. I do want to keep the ferret, the skirt, the pink heeled tennis shoes and the striped leggings, but the rest could go. I'm not crazy about the rabbit ear hoodie or the t-shirt and I don't really need the bag though it's cute. I just might add her school girl skirt to that lot as it's rather shorter than I'd like and I already have one almost exactly like it except a bit longer that will likely fit her just fine. I've got to sit down and decide what goes, what stays but if I sell some of her extra stuff off I can probably make back what I just spent on her and could then use the funds to pay off the bill. This splurge wouldn't be nearly so naughty then, lol.
To be fair though, this is MY big splurge on a DN. It's not like the others cost me anything much. They were actually for Christmas so they didn't dent my credit card. All I had to do was find them on sale so they didn't cost the relatives an arm and a leg. Usually I do stop with a trio but I really love my DN's and I would not mind having one more. At some point I'd also like to buy a couple of her other outfits, but not just now. I like the Blue Gloomth outfit though, and I really like the red velvet and Lady Onyx outfits though I am not sure I'd really trust either on a doll. I'm sure they are semi-lined like the clothes I have so far but I still am leery of all black and all red clothing left on a doll for long.
I'm definitely going to make my DN's some full body stockings I think at some point here. It does make things a little bulkier but I'm thinking it's rather an evil necessity under the circumstances. Delilah's other incarnations have such cool clothes though that I'm tempted. I don't want more dolls though, just more clothes. Buying more DN clothes is a bit of an indulgence though. DN can share some clothes with my Tonners which gives her a lot of regular wardrobe options and I actually save the goth outfits just for D&D aka Dahlia.
Darn, I just realized. I've got to come up with another "D" name!!! Hmmm. Delilah, Dahlia, Damiana, and who?....
