:D Thanks! It's really cute, I kinda wish I had one like that for myself. Though I do think Aiko looks like she's threatening to do things with that knife...

It could work - Aiko is a 50cm obitsu, so she's on the smaller end of the SD scale. Oh sorry, that wasn't 99 pieces, it was 99pence/pennies - I found it in the 99p shop where everything is <£1.

Haha, now that makes a lot more sense....I feel kinda silly now. Dollar stores around me don't have anything like that usually(though I do love them anyway!), but I'll take a peek anyway, sometimes they get some stuff that is pretty neat. And Aiko does look a little like she's threatening to use that knife...Thanks for answering!! Maybe the sets will work after all. :)

Bought some gold embroidery floss and some extra long needles. The needles should make rerooting way easier.

Membership to the V&A in London... Not because I'm particularly cultured, but because I want to abuse the perks that mean I'll be able to get into the Bowie exhibition as often as I'm there... Which I fully intend to be most days...

So far everything I've been buying hasn't even been close to dolls. The last two days I've hit up Salvation Army and Goodwill and walked out with an armload of 78s (some 10" records, some full length albums) and a boatload of classical music anthologies. I'm glad my hubby doesn't mind because I bought 20 box sets today. lol!

MP3s, Split Enz, Donna Summer, The Cockroaches, Elvis. Think that's varied enough to confuse the hell out of the automatic suggestion bot at the store?

My dolls are going to benefit from this so I guess it counts? I went outside for a minute and there was an Amazon box on my stoop addressed to me. I have no idea of when they dropped this but it wasn't out there at 5 when I was out before. I wasn't expecting anything so I was a little confused. I figured maybe they'd shipped something in error maybe? Nope. There was a card inside from a good friend of mine and a present that made me smile.

For a while now I've been thinking hard about getting a rotary tool with a flex shaft for crafting and home projects and such but the corded Dremel tools and the flex shaft are pretty expensive and I've had other priorities lately. I didn't want a cordless model. I knew that but we had a discussion about this a long while back about what tools were decent and which might be worth the buy. If that level of Dremel (corded, multi-speed and with flex shaft) was really worth it or if there were any decent alternatives.

Apparently he saw a video on You Tube reviewing this one thought it looked good and he actually went and got one. He decided upon use that he liked it. So much he bought me one too. :) Not only that he sent me a nice accessories kit that has a ton more of the type of tools I'd likely use a lot making the kind of stuff I make. I'm psyched! This kit looks awesome and I have a feeling I can do some really great stuff with one of these. I've never had a rotary tool before and I don't really know how to use it as yet but there are videos I can watch and I would imagine I'll get the hang of it fairly quickly. Though this could be dangerous from what I've seen posted here. Rotary tools, they can get you doing some scary things with dolls from what I can tell, laugh.

and this is the video that he saw...

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, leather bound edition for my husband. It's one of his favorite collections and I found out that we no longer have our copy from 1937. He got an early birthday present.

So I went to Big Lots, and the local Dollar Tree, no luck finding the kitchen stuff, but I did find a kids stacking game that are wine glasses that are the right size for my dolls. They are sparkly and are in bright colors, but they are still pretty cool. There were 10 in a pack.

And I went to The Salvation Army(a thrift store), and found this really cute wooden chair that fits two of my dolls. And it was only $2! So all in all it was good doll day.
